No Customer Service
Basically there s no customer service with Credo You will not be able to get them on the phone However they will cut off your service without prior warning after years of on-time payments Better to write your own check to the non-profits of your choice and find a provider with better more responsive customer service

Credo gave away my phone number
I was a loyal Working Assets customer for years then left only because my brother included me on his AT T family plan A year and a half ago I signed up with Credo which has been a poor experience Half the time I can t get online and the fees are very high Then a week ago I discovered that Verizon had given my long-time phone number to someone else Credo was no help despite several emails begging for assistance I m dumping them and moving to T-mobile

Difficult to take number to new cell provider
After 13 years and more counting years previously with Working Asset we have been Credo customers When we moved in a new neighborhood that Credo s network didnt work very well we had to make a change We wanted our phone number to travel with us to new company Now here is my complaint that makes us very unhappy with Credo and why I m writing this We received wrong info wrong pins spent several days and hours with Credo blaming our new company making us repeat reverify so on forever Finally after 3 days of cell customer service hell both numbers were released by Credo We are so puzzled why this normal event was so confusing for Credo to perform

Not what they claim to be
Not what they claim to be We have been customers for many years but this company has changed They have repeatedly failed to apply payments and it is nearly impossible to reach customer service and if you do they usually cut you off before a rep picks up And if they do pick up they are extremely unproffesional We liked this company because of their promise to support progressive causes but it seems that is also a scam

Another customer who s been sold out
To quote the previous reviewer I enjoyed supporting a progressive phone company but now with this experience I understand Credo has joined the greedinness of the world which they are supposed to be fighting Just WOW We ve been with Credo Working Assets for over 30 years Today getting their assistance to port my child phone secondary account number over to another carrier took 5 hours and more than 20 phonecalls with Credo They lied they made excuses they asked stupid questions they read their political statement and consistently hung up on us ALL DAY I feel used and taken advantage of because of my desire to donate to important causes - they have sold out their customers

Run away fast from Credo
Run away fast from Credo 12 days in a row during Dec 2023 I had no phone or wifi service at my house Phone worked just fine 5 miles from home Verizon is switching 3g to 5g towers in my neighborhood Verizon posts signs on their stores about phone delays and outages lasting beyond the New Year Credo is a little sucker fish using Verizon s towers and infrastructure Credo still refuses to accept blame for my outages Although Credo did magically refund a partial payment after I filed a claim against them The claim is not closed yet Credo lied repeatedly in emails and on the phone pretending no Verizon outages in my area Credo steals from their customers Credo donating to worthy causes is an advertisement gimmick Don t trust Credo

Screwed over after 12 1 2
After 12 1 2 years of being a loyal customer Credo sided with their 1 star rating insurance carrier Likewize I tried for over a month to get my phone repaired with nothing but issues from Likewize Credo would not help me I enjoyed supporting a progressive phone company but now with this experience I understand Credo has joined the greedinness of the world which they are supposed to be fighting

Three days of trying and my phone is still not activated
I have been trying to port my number in for three days Very long wait times on hold to have someone answer and the call was dropped several times Every time I called I had to start over so far I have not been able to talk to a supervisor even though I was advised to do that when I finally thought to call the carrier I am switching from I wish I could stay with Consumer Cellular but ATT does not have as good coverage as Verizon in my area I m definitely going to keep an eye out for ATT tower improvement and switch as soon as I can

Why the past due emails
For the third time Credo mobile sent me a past due email two weeks after I mailed my payment More often than not I receive my bill one or two days before the due date and the date on that bill is usually one to two weeks earlier I m dumping Credo for another provider

Not what they used to be
I also have been with Credo for many years and was glad that my money was helping good causes I was reasonably happy with them until recently when I needed customer support for the first time in a long time I agree that 1 the technical support staff does not know what they are doing and 2 managers are unwilling to help resolve issues or give the name of anyone higher up to contact Very snooty I expected better being a long time customer And no this is not a fake review
