Worked now NOTHING they sent a replacement
When I first got the Cricut maker it worked awesome and now tonight I am having tons of issues First won t cut It goes through the design but not cutting at all So I researched and it said about holding buttons down for a restart and calibration Welp that was the biggest mistake Now second it s trying to update and all I have is iPad and iPhone and you need a freaking computer like what the hell computers should be obsolete by now should be able to do everything on devices you have should state in huge letters that you need a laptop or computer So I now have a freaking expensive paper weight and now the business I was trying to do is welp not gonna happen so this is a waste of money for those of us that can t afford to keep all tech stuff Computers and laptops are a pain and always need new ones due to old ones are slow and can t update so why have them dinosaurs You need to be rich this isn t for those of us that are trying to live comfy Next day actually afternoon After I got some sleep and thought about all that happened and finally called support and explained and welp I think the person either put phone down so I called back and got a wonderful lady Lavern and she sympathize with me and I kept apologizing for interrupting her cause of course I was so beside myself Anyway while on phone she explained that she was sending me an email to follow instructions on what they needed me to do and I asked tons of questions I needed to make sure I understood everything and she got all info and told me they will be sending out a power cord to replace and that I had to follow steps and send a video of the situation and that way the tech ppl might figure out what s the problem or they will send me a new one and I ship the issue one back Now it s waiting to see what they come up with Update-March 27 2021 I am supposed to get a replacement and send the one I have not working back to them I will update when that happensOk today I got the new Cricut maker from the company and tomorrow I am returning the one that has issues So now you all know that if you buy a Cricut maker or whatnot and has issues to actually call and if the first person doesn t cut it CALL AGAIN until you get a person to actually help you and if you are upset tell the person and apologize due to the person on the other end think you are rude to them All in all I hope this one goes well and life will be good again So I want to change the stars to 5 for the great help they were and fast shipping Monday 29th of March Last update I called to get a return slip or whatever I needed to do with the old machine and I was told to depose of it in recycling So if anyone sees a Cricut maker for recyclables than don t think you can get it working due to they deleted that one and it s basically a heavy paper weight But I am calling to see if my trash company will take it and if not than off to the dump So if a person tries to sell you a Cricut without the box and all the contents DONT PURCHASE IT due to it could be one of those that are defaulty and they deleted that serial number so can t do anything at all I thanked Michelle for all her help today and I tell ya what Buy a Cricut Maker and you ll be amazed what you can create on your very own and impress those around you The only limit is your imagination Happy creating and have a fantastic day

Updating my review thank you cricut for listening to your customers and considering the effect of the 20 limit upload policy would have esp since a lot of us purchased the product due to this unlimited design upload option with or without a subscription I don t write reviews however I ll make an exception First I d like to start off by saying I love my cricut I love design space So far I haven t had any issues with them but this change in policy forcing your customers to purchased the all access plan is wrong While 10 might not be a lot to some to others it is The whole beauty in buying and using the product and design space was being able to create as many things as you want with or without the subscription I love this machine and the software but being forced to buy something when i dont use 90 of the features available to me just so i can have the freedom to create unlimited designs for fun is ridiculous You re taking the fun and joy from us by doing this

So far so good as a beginner
So far so good as a beginnerI bought my first cricut machine JOY at the nearby craft store because it was on special I contacted them to cancel my order The guy I talked to was very nice and understanding he explained the process really well and presented me with the outcome if I went through with the cancellation I was very pleased by all the information I got and my new cricut machine I don t have a subscription or anything when using it A little tricky but nothing I couldn t sort out Waiting time was a bit long though around 15 min on the tool-free phone number

Lightning fast shipping great prices quality materials
Whenever I order materials from Cricut paper for cardmaking etc it comes crazy fast Even the cheaper shipping options are extremely quick to arrive They often have awesome sales on materials and supplies and I find their paper to be very good quality The paper I ve ordered several times is nice solid-core paper with a beautiful weave texture I wish there was a Canadian online store but the US store delivers to me faster than most Canadian companies so I m still very satisfied with my experiences

Still charged 2yrs after cancelling subscription website shows no subscription
I had a Cricut Access subscription that I cancelled in late 2021 In September 2023 I found out that I had still been charged monthly despite cancelling in 2021 My account shows no subscription I purchased via cricut com so there s no iOS or Play store involvement In transaction history it shows the last one as Oct 2022 although I cancelled almost a year prior but I am still being charged for this I didn t realise until now because its on a credit card I no longer use

How can they sell a machine that cost
How can they sell a machine that cost 200 and up and not offer to repair their machines that have a history of failing They keep using the same lame excuse in all The Better Business claims it s out of the one year warranty I get that but after a year and a 200 machine breaks are we suppose to clog up the landfills with their defective machines Interesting when I called again today with my complaints they said they now offer an extended warranty a lot of good that does for me It also shows that they realize they have problems with their machines Stand behind your product Cricut Offer a replacement if the machine is under five years old

BE AWARE Awful After I waited 20 minutes on the line I was hung up on then I tried to callback they were closed WOW Still being charged for a free trial subscription after I caught it they only wanted to credit me back one month on something that wasn t being used

Cricut has got to be one of the worst companies I ve encountered in terms of their product software actually doing what it s supposed to Let s start with the software User functionality is terrible Limited options weird ways of doing things that should be simple completely non-intuitive Constant freezing lagging buttons will just stop working It is so so frequent that I have to close the program uninstall it just for basic buttons to be clickable Sometimes I ll just come back later and it will magically work again The CONSTANT pushing of paid products that s increasing with each update is insufferable Now if you are able to even get past this terrible software to actually cutting something get ready to pull your hair out You are about to waste a ridiculous amount of ink materials and time Calibration is awful the sheet on the app is not scaled to the correct size you have to go get the one off their website for it to calibrate properly Yes I m literally saying the calibration sheet included in the calibration section of the application is the WRONG sheet Even if you get it calibrated don t expect it to last long Print and cut prints your image in lower quality just for no reason Can t cut glossy paper Blade and cricut mat are expensive and not long lasting If your blade is even a little dull it will drag and pull on your material It shouldn t be so difficult to get a clean and accurate cut on a machine that s entire purpose is to cut things Essentially no customer service to be had Generic responses of have you tried turning it off and on again Cricuts marketing team works overtime and their software team appears to not work at all If you are just a hobbyist with money to throw away maybe you ll have the patience but if you are needing this for a small business that ya know requires you to work instead of spending hours trying to problem solve DO NOT purchase this machine
