I have used Curve metal for a few years

I have used Curve metal for a few years now and always been happy I have even linked my Twinn me ring to it I have deducted one star as there is always room for improvement and another star as Curve stopped the phone insurance etc that came with the card fee associated with the metal card I have The extra cashback doesn t make up for the recent changes to the T C s The go back in time feature is good and I have used it a few times and it has worked very well I think that the free card will suit most people

Insurance removed for top tier subscribers - not good

I have been a Curve Metal subscriber for quite a while now The recent change to remove bundled insurance took me by surprise and I have to admit I am very seriously looking into other options and considering getting rid of my Curve subscription as a result The card works great most of the time - no issues there But I find myself using it mostly through Google Pay on my phone so there s no reason I couldn t just add my individual cards on there rather than paying extra

Not worth the subscription fee

As an early adopter it is frustrating that they have removed some of the best features from the free account and now charge a hefty fee The app is handy to keep track of spending but 2 cards in the free account is not enough However the limited benefits of a subscription do not justify the monthly cost unless you are an avaid traveller and can make use of lounges etc

Not the best not by a long shot

I used Curve and my money got swallowed at the ATM took nearly 2 months to get my 150 back Customer service are friendly and professional but slow If I only had that money to my name I d be really stuck No compensation or goodwill gestures either Card gets declined too often although the account has big balance very frustrating

Getting worse

Useful service- Difficult to reach support- FX exchange limits comically low as of 2024- The app is a mess- When changing plans new card is issued automatically invalidating the old one a complete blunder when you re out of town

RUBBISH

I have been using Curve for years and never had a problem but now I have come back to it it will not let me add my Lloyds mastercard credit card all other cards are OK Lloyds say there s nothing wrong there end to contact curve but as others have said they have made complaints to the non existent customer service plus the same card adds to the phones wallet I think the only good thing it s for is the use of PayPal

Shame about the insurance benefits

I have been a member of curve for about 2-3 years now and paid for the premium membership metal which was fantastic Unfortunately they have made some changes to the perks which included getting rid of the insurance benefits and so it s no longer something I need The insurance benefits were the main selling point for me to join Curve Metal and therefore sadly I ve downgraded to the free plan However I do still actively use curve for its convenience of having all my accounts on one card Means I don t have to carry a thick wallet full of bank cards everywhere I go

Good product bad customer service

As a long time customer overall I like the service however I will say as they have gotten bigger customer service has gone way downhill They use to have support agents available within minutes but now if your lucky it takes 4plus days Sometimes they will resolve an issue other times they say they will get back to you and never do I have a support ticket open 21 days ago I ve chased twice since and no response

Curve becoming expensive with less benefits

The card is good has some great featuresHowever they recently changed some of there benefits cancelled some down graded others The most annoying is moving from some benefits being available once monthly to now on a rolling 30 day use with no help guidance ordering if you breach the 30 day rule just a big financial penalty fee

It was better

I ve been a Curve user from the start and initially loved it However I ve noticed a decline in quality lately Travel and mobile phone insurance are no longer accessible it doesn t accept credit cards from outside the EU and UK and the membership fee has increased significantly Despite having the metal card I m considering downgrading While it was great before now it s just okay It might be wise to explore other options
