Curve useful but support non-existent

I really like Curve and find it very useful however there is no support at all Support tickets raised are basically ignored so if you have a problem with a transaction you are on your own and will most likely have to revert to paying outside of Curve The app is ok but it is annoying that the refresh card transactions pulldown doesn t work and the only way to see recent card transaction is to kill and restart the app This bug has been around for ages and still not been fixed iOS

Interesting features but no customer support

It has some interesting features as go back in time and charge another card in stead of the one with which you paid initially But there is no one at the other side of the screen No customer support only an automatic chat I though I was scammed by a brand and asked info about two purchases long time ago The chat finally told me that my messages would be read by an agent in 2 3 days Two months have passed and I m still waiting

Now that the company decided to get rid

Now that the company decided to get rid of the insurance the Curve Metal Card lost it s value I will be cancelling my Subscription if they don t add extra value to the card 1 on 12 retailers won t cut it as a lot of the retailers don t even get recognized by Curve if you pay overseas

Gone downhill badly

Customer support is terrible They take 2 months to respond to a query despite saying it should take 3-5 days Then when eventually respond they do not answer what s asked and close the chat so you need to restart the process They have also fundamentally changed the benefits of Curve with very little explanation of what s changed - just a generic we ve updated our T C s email with zero highlighting of what key parts actually changed Then you only notice the changes when they start adding fees to all your transactions This is just terrible communication I ve now stopped using the card as I see no benefit in using it I just use my underlying cards directly from ApplePay Shame as I used to be a big advocate for Curve as one of their initial customers from launch but now it s just more cost and hassle than it s worth to use them

Curve Card Saga Blocked Without Warning Support Missing

TLDR I was a loyal Curve user until my card was unexpectedly blocked without notice Despite reluctantly providing the requested documents to Curve support I received no response for months Eventually I was informed that my card was unblocked but the lack of support as a paying member was extremely disappointing ---I was a big and convinced fan of Curve had a paid subscription but one day my Curve Card stopped working The card was simply blocked by Curve without any notification I tried for weeks to reach Curve support unsuccessfully until after 1 month support informed me that I had to send them data and bank statements for my cards registered with Curve I did so reluctantly but never received a response Even after several inquiries I got no reply I had already moved on and would have planned to delete my account after the annual subscription expires until 3 months after sending my registered card details to support I received an email stating that my Curve Card is now unblocked So the support is an absolute cheek As long as Curve works all is good but as soon as you need something from support you will find that as a paying member you receive no help

Lower standards as they used to be

This thing became a huge mess The new app structure is ridiculously disorganised The good ol bugs have never been resolved this makes you have to kill the app several times to refresh the list of latest transactions Removing the insurance yet putting the price up by 30 extra is ridiculous 6 retailers are plenty offering 12 for more money does not cover for the extra charge plus the removal of the insurance Raised an official complaint with them as I have not received any communication from them about the price changes nor about the charge to come before the payment is due so ended up with a surprise charge of 179 instead of 149 I signed up for Guess what It s been 4 days and had NO reply to my messages It is supposed to have priority customer service for that amount right I think this will be the time for a downgrade or cancel it all together Later edit raised the score to two stars because they eventually got me refunded for the difference even though they tried to explain how they done everything right

Used to be a good product

Used to be a good product but customer service is now appalling Messages go unanswered for weeks Recent gutting of Metal product makes it practically worthless to me as price for subscriptionhas gone up but benefits cut drastically Want to downgrade or cancel good luck nobody ever replies

Paid tiers not value for money

Curve paid tiers used to be good value for money Gadget insurance and travel insurance included as part of the top tier product alongside 1 Cashback from 6 retailers and higher foreign cash withdrawals and other perks The insurances alone made the top tier worth the price they charge The insurance has now been removed as a benefit and replaced with the option to earn 1 cashback from an extra 6 retailers so 12 in total Bear in mind that you can t change your cashback retailers once you ve chosen them either Like I said Metal was value for money Not any more

I was a paying user for Curve

I was a paying user for Curve I was supposed to get premium support response time It literally took me a month for them to respond It was about cancelling my curve premium card Also note that they will attempt to charge you 50 euro cancellation fee if you cancel the card before 6 months has passed READ TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY Only reason I give two stars They let me go without paying the early cancellation fee as my ticket for cancelling my subscription literally took over 30 days to process causing me to be involuntarily charged

Great concept but less and less benefits

It is a great concept but it seems Curve is in a negative spiral Fees are constantly increased and features are constantly removed Usage limits are constantly decreased so you often hit the limits and end up paying even more fees What is worse is that it seems Curve is in conflict with the whole system More and more credit cards out there are simply blocking Curve transactions from their loyalty programs Contrary to what Curve claim If you use your curve card you often won t earn any loyalty points at all Some credit cards even add currency fees on top of curve transactions meaning you pay double exchange rates
