Between average and poor

Degiro has a great selection of stocks a confusing web interface and an outdated mobile app The prices to trade are reasonable but there are better apps and services out there Freetrade I do use degiro occasionally when it s the only place I can buy stocks but with such an outdated app they re not my default trading platform and likely never will be

System is unreliable and customer service is slow

Degiro system needs proper maintenance It has technical issues - for example sometimes it does not recognize orders or deletions Customer service is also slowSystem not reliableMy advise Degiro should invest more in their IT and customer service staff Both areas are poor at the moment

I m a foreigner living in Poland and heard good reviews about This broker Unfortunately I cannot even switch language to English Its a show stopper for tons of expats like me Why on earth choosing location decides language preference its 2020 already I am Programmer myself whoever gave this idea location deciding language preferences Great job

A good platform

A good platform with on several occasions a better execution than instructed On the negative it is pretty limited with its offerings in commodities or shorting equity and the margining is conservative For this kind of trades I use interactive brokers

The information on the site is not very detailed Not much explaination If you want to trade ETF or options is a nightmare

Good broker with low fees but I don t

Good broker with low fees but I don t understand why I am being forced to use Euro Transactions in USD are automatically converted to euro

Skyrocketing costs

I like Degiro their service is good But I have to complain about the cost strategy Buying shares on the Nasdaq used to cost you 0 5 then 1 and now 2 euros This is not acceptable The way they are raising the costs is unreal Clearly their customers is not their priority priority to their shareholders Be careful there are probably better options

Serious improvements needed in DEGIRO

I have been using DEGIRO platform for around two years There are a few main problems with the platform Maintenance updates which make the platform unavailable tend to occur throughout weekends which is mostly when I have time to work on my portfolio not during the weekdays This needs to stop More availability and stability is required Also the platform has very limited stock research tools Not to mention that there are bugs in the platform which limit its functionality

No american options

great platform to use also offer leverage products and shorting without losing more than your own investment read yourself carefully before you start You can also easily trade options Only you can t buy American companies options which is a big setback

I have been using Degiro since 2019 but

I have been using Degiro since 2019 I have big portfolio and I have not thought to go to other broker regardeless of having changed the fees 5 times However there is one thing I refuse to accept In 2023 there is no other broker that does not offer a visualization of the portfolio like a pie chart or line chart This is the most easy thing for a software engineer and I speak from experience Moreover the TOTAL PL that is displayed contains ALL fees such as autoFX connectivity exchange fees dividends etc We need a TOTAL UNREALISED PL to track our OPEN investments I have used the feedback message option 10000 times No reply and nothing has changed I am considering moving to Interactive Brokers soon
