Although the service worked this eligibility check fee is a great catch Especially because that s definitely a joke The eligibility check did cost more than the unlocking itself And if they would say my phone is not eligible they would have still ripped me off 23 99 I repeat the system worked my phone s unlocked but my experience with them was not exactly straightforward I m waiting for my 10 though Update 06 08 2022 the 10 cashback for a review is a scam

Poor communication Constantly repeating the same response over took over 2 months to get it unlocked by that time I already paid another company to get it done I would NOT recommend this company to anyone

UPDATE although they were able to carrier unlock my iphone we are a month later and they still have not been able to unlock thee icloud activation unlock We are 24 days out from me purchasing the icloud unlock and still no help I have reached out multiple times for a time frame when they only say it takes a long time when they told me originally it would be 48 hrs then 7 days and now it s a priority supposedly but we re 24-25 days from my purchase and nothing I have reached out multiple times for a refund and to no avail have they bothered to contact me back for that let s see if they contact me and help me after this on if they can unlock it or have to give me a refund The two star re-review is due to a lack of return correspondence and lack of honesty pertaining to the original time frame of iCloud unlock and the inability to actually icloud unlock my phone The below review still pertains true These guys did the unthinkable and fixed the multiple problems I had with my iPhone 13 Pro So many of you may know that it is a pain to get your phone unlocked by your carrier no matter what your problem financed still owe payments even if it s paid off If you re having trouble with your carrier releasing your phone from being locked Know that Direct Unlocks can help you or get your money back THEY STAND BY THEIR WORD So I bought an ex-girlfriend a cellphone that she never paid for the service so it got cut off When I finally got the phone back it was carrier locked still and she wouldn t give me her iCloud password to get the find my phone turned off so I could sell the phone to get my money back Well after trying multiple products and companies and wasting hundreds of dollars I finally found these guys Man do I wish I had found them first because the ease of every transaction with them was amazing I unfortunately had to initially pay for a blacklist check then I had to pay for the standard unlock service just to find out that my service was rejected and I had to purchase a premium service next which I was a little worried about it since I had my money stolen by other companies that promised these same services but I went ahead and paid the couple hundred bucks since they had the money-back guarantee Well unfortunately it took almost the whole 14-day waiting period for it to get unlocked since I was unable to pay for it when it was offered as available but they definitely did do their job and what do you know they got it unlocked Now I would have given them 5 stars for doing everything they said they would more by initially changing the carrier service unlock for free from T-Mobile to sprint since I had initially filled out the form incorrectly or was uninformed of who the carrier was for the phone service The only problem was I had to purchase an iCloud Activation Unlock Service as well and before I purchased the service it said on the order screen that it would be 24-48 hrs max time frame before my iPhone would be iCloud unlocked Although the whole time frame had been almost a little over a month and a half from the 1st purchase till now with the 14-day carrier unlock wait and me having to wait till I got paid before I could purchase each one of these I went ahead thinking 48 hrs more time to wait wasn t bad Well after my purchase it turned into a 7-day waiting period so that was a bummer believing that the maximum was going to be 48 hrs and now I m waiting for 7 more days for this to go through So far everything was delivered as promised without any hiccups I would recommend these guys to everybody and go to them first Do not try another website or cheaper options These guys deliver as promised and offer incredible ways to save more money know this is an honest review Don t go anywhere else use Direct Unlocks you ll thank me

This review is to state that Direct Unlocks finally after constant emails back and forth and many bad reviews I wrote and the sharing of content in emails sent by this company to prove I was in the right did honor their 100 guaranteed refund of their USB MOTOROLA TECHNICIAN UNLOCK SERVICE for 151 that did fail on 7 22 2023 They did not want to and it seemed as if they fought tooth and nail but after enough evidence and the writing of bad reviews I showed them to prove that I was in the right and I kept copies of every email and the bill that they sent me for the USB service that I paid with using the credit note of 163 that they gave me for 2 eligibility checks of 28 99 and 2 50 failed IMEI unlocks I then also had the copy of the 5 to complete the payment for the USB service This company told me that service was 100 guaranteed to unlock or a full refund for any reason upon failure I am happy that this company finally honored their guarantee but sad that I had to go through so much hassle with Judy to get them to honor it I have NEVER in my life had so much trouble getting a company to honor their 100 guarantee with me I would say use caution in dealing with this company and make sure of what your agreement is with them before you pay for their service I thought that I would get my cash back when the IMEI unlocks failed But that was not the case Because neither of my devices requested unlock codes they told me that I could only get a credit note for the amounts But they did tell me that I could use the credit note of the 163 towards their 100 guaranteed service to unlock or a refund to my card for any failure for 1 device for their USB technician service So that was what I chose and I quickly found out that this company really did not like to honor that 100 guarantee In fact they did not respond to my primary email and I had to outsmart them by using my secondary email just to get them to respond to me Only then did I get to tell them that the USB service failed and I was requesting my 100 guaranteed money back They have no phone to call them at and that is a big red flag to me They did have and I tried to call the number but it had been disconnected The technician who tried his best to unlock my device told me this company also only deals with them via email I will say that if you owe money on your device and your device is hard-locked by your carrier then this company or any other like it CANNOT unlock your device Your device will require an unlock code from your carrier That is the only way your device or devices will get unlocked Take it from me who worked with their technician and he failed to unlock my hard-locked device that was locked by my carrier You will waste your money if your device does not request an unlock code because it is hard-locked by your carrier Just be cautious in using these services and any like them Read everything in their terms and conditions and anything regarding any 100 guarantee Protect yourself To Judy In response Both of my devices you said did not request an unlocking code Your USB technician even erased the t mobile firmware and installed a new firmware and it still did not unlock I had a terrible time getting my 100 guarantee from you and that is mainly what this update is about Finally you did honor it but not after I had much trouble with you as you did not want to honor it As I said I am telling everyone that deals with your company to read your terms and conditions and especially your 100 guarantee and pay attention and to be sure they want to use your services after all that is read I also told them devices that you cannot unlock Your technician told me that I would need a device unlocking app to unlock the phone So neither you or your technicians obviously do not have access to any device unlocking apps or he would have been able to unlock it After reading all the negative reviews on the BBB site and others I cannot believe that the USB service unlocks 99 of the time But you can state that if you feel you need to I did point others in the direction of the BBB and also Trust pilot and other sites with reviews that point out the negative reviews on your company because I read quite a few after I had already paid for your services So it is up to the consumer if they want to use your service after reading the reviews and your terms and conditions

The unlock worked but 50 to do so is very excessive I wished I did it myself as it would cost a tiny fraction of what I was charged

Direct Unlocks starts out by saying its only 28 but on close reading that is just an eligibility check Makes sense I guess After they tell you it will be 6 hours to unlock and you pay another 45 to start the process the time frame immediately jumps up to 4 days After 4 days comes and goes they apologize for the delay and say its going to be a little while longer and the wait goes up to 7 days this time After this 7 days is up they assure me that they are now prioritizing my case it will be resolved in a few short days As of now I am another 7 days past this new deadline bringing up the total to 18 days without an unlocked phone and 73 lighter Not the most impressive or helpful service I have received to date Update 1-29-2023After my initial review things finally got moving not sure if it was just lucky timing or renewed enthusiasm by Direct Unlocks and I was provided with unlock codes The initial experience above remains the same however I gave them an extra star for reaching out and resolving the issue

So I saw that this place was pretty legit They came back at me 3 weeks later and said that my phone had a hard lock that could not be resolved I said that s fine just refund me back my money They email me back and said that they were going to credit me on their website If the one phone that I was trying to get unlocked can t be unlocked then why would I need a credit on your website Four times I kindly asked them to give me back my money in my initial payment method They ignored me for two weeks and now they blocked my emails so now my email says that their email does not exist this dude is a problem I never write reviews and I never report anybody this is literally my first time but it s a little bit ridiculous

It tooks about 4 months for my phone to be unlocked First time you charge for premium service Second time you charge plus charge to get the service with manufacturer Then now I received a message that my phone is unlocked I insert my SIM and the phone is still locked So I payed a lot of money wait a long time and not have the service completed What do you think I have to do After receive a confirmation mail that my phone was unlocked I tried to reset it completely that is erase everything like a new phone When this process finished it finally recognized cellular network Then I restored my backup I have two complains One is related to a long time waiting to receive the information that was not possible to unlock from ATT almost 4 months Two Why do I have to pay additional fee to unlock from the manufacturer if I already payed a premium fee
