Terrible service out to make a quick buck
I am incredibly disappointed and extremely upset with the way things were handled by this company and so not recommend them at all I informed them that I was running 5-10 mins late and asked if I could be placed on the alternate tour starting at 8 45 and they agreed I could since they couldn t even wait for 5 mins I phoned them again informing them that the traffic situation was looking up and maybe I could make it by 8 27 for the original tour Of course the traffic particularly close to about 6 mins from the destination at Royal Mile was inundated with traffic signals created due to some construction work Resultantly I reached at around 8 34 35 When I came to the destination neither the 8 30 tour nor the 8 45 tour buses were around I had also informed them that if I came later I would join the later tour so they were aware of this position and honestly ought to have accounted for the absolutely human element of about a 5-10 min delay especially since I was coming from Livingston where there had been some accidents on the road causing the delay We had spoken pursuant to so I don t understand why the 8 45 tour could not have been requested to wait before their departure time of 8 45 Basically the 8 45 tour departed before 8 45 leaving me without entry to both tours although I reached before 8 45 When I called them I was told that both buses had left This was incredible and unacceptable especially after I have put them to notice If there was any doubt a small call back would have been the minimum basic courtesy Instead I was summarily and rather rudely might I add told by one Laura that both buses had left incredulously the 8 45 bus had left even before 8 40 So basically I spent 42 for a cab here and 68 for their tour then informed them of my 5-10 min delay due to the traffic situation beyond my control by email and call and instead not only did I get left out of the 8 30 tour but also the 8 45 tour which left even before 8 40 although I arrived before 8 40 It makes me wonder what policies animate this company s work and whether there is an element of discrimination with the assumption that perhaps customers of colour from other places can be taken for a ride It makes me extremely upset and shocked honestly I was then given a lecture about being on time and told nothing could be done and that the ticket would now be non refundable I absolutely contest this position and called upon the company to give me a full refund especially after I had put then to notice repeatedly and I was also told I would be accommodated on the next trip and by their own admission the second bus left before time when I was already there This sort of ruined the whole day for me They did not bother to accept this I wouldn t normally pursue something like this but the way things played out was especially unsettling and made me feel very poorly treated almost as if my money and my place and my requests didn t matter and no matter what I did I wouldn t be allowed to get on to their tours I have not seen this happen anywhere else ever I have encountered many wonderful friendly and warm people here and loved this place and this trip Cannot say the same thing about this interaction and your company They do not care at all about the customers and are out to make a quick buck Don t take this tour

Great experience
I took the Glenfinnan Viaduct Mallaig Glencoe tour from Glasgow and had the best time ever Our guide Jerry was kind and fun great sceneries rainbow included good music and company I definitely recommend Discover Scotland Tours

Brilliant Tour to enjoy
A very compelling experience I had with this company the tour guide was genuinely nice and had a great way to narrate stories and explain you everything about everywhere with a great sense of humour The bus was very comfortable very clean and had the clim as well I would recommend to anyone who s looking for a good insight to Scotland s magnificent scenery and landscape Customer service is very active and always able to answer queries at any time in a friendly manner Great experience

Best tour
We took the Loch Ness Glencoe the Highlands Tour James was our guide and he was a gift to the tour The tour took us to the most beautiful sights in the highlands and James was very friendly and knowledgeable making everybody relaxed and entertained There was time to take pictures and enjoy the stops - not just out in and off we go An absolutely amazing tour that we will recommend to all

Fantastic4 day Isle of Skye tour
My friend and I went on the 4 day Isle of Skye tour and I can just say that our trip was FANTASTIC I am so happy we went for the 4 days instead of 3 as nothing felt stressed and we had time to see so many interesting sights Our tour guide Scott was just the best I don t have the right words for it but he just lifted the whole experience to the highest level Scott made great stops he adjusted the trip based on our interests then weather and other factors Maybe even more important for a multiple day trip Scott was just great at making the whole group feel good and setting a happy and fun mood After a few days we felt more like a group of friends than a group of strangers that were on this tour together This tour just hit exactly what we hoped to find and I would love to take one of their tours again

We visited Scotland for the first time
We visited Scotland for the first time and had no idea what to do so we decided to book a tour with discover Scotland It was the best part of the Scotland trip to be honest we met the bus at 8am and had a fanatic tour around the country side for 12 hours And then arrived back at the pick up destination I don t know how they do it but they chat the entire trip telling stories and history about Scotland me and my wife loved it We had a guy named Kyle and he was really nice learned a lot of stuff and saw some beautiful places we floated along Loch Ness in a boat saw highland cows a stunning waterfall and just amazing scenery everywhere Highly recommend getting a tour with these guys as it beats exploring Edinburgh Thanks guys from James and ravisara

Discover Scotland Tours - Fab
Scott made me and my mum s day today absolutely fantastic He knew loads about the tour Western Higlands-Oban-Glencoe Made us feel so welcome from minute we arrived made us laugh with his hilarious banter Thank you Scott The scenery is beautiful even tho it rained We had plenty of stops to take photos and for refreshments x

Oban Glencoe - Stuart was Fab
We did the Oban Glencoe trip from Glasgow with Stuart as our tour guide We had a great trip with a small group and had the opportunity to see loch lomand eat amazing seafood in Oban and then on to the highlands The minibus was great and Stuart went the extra mile to make our trip special we even saw a Stag up close I would definitely recommend Discover Scotland and Stuart to others and the price was so reasonable

We took the Loch Ness Glencoe the Highlands tour on a very rainy day but still had an amazing time Our guide Kyle was an absolute joy and a great storyteller He made sure to get to know everyone involved the group in the conversations and had a great sense of humour We had plenty of stops to take photos and got proper time to enjoy the scenery Highly recommend the tour and Discover Scotland Tours as a company
