Not for long term usage a few months recommended
Long time user and one of the first members of the Dribe service So many issues recently i have decided its not worth the hassle of using Dribe and have chosen to lease a car direct with the manufacturer rather than Dribe I like the concept but in my opinion after using for years the concept doesnt work that well for me I would recommend it for users that need to lease for a few months in the year but not for a continual lease For me the cons way out number the pros Cons-Lots of bugs in the app particulary at drop off pickup-Pickup times onsite at Dribe can be lengthy over 90 minutes the last visit -Cars have been dirty when picking up which is surprising given current covid times- When you book a car you dont know when its needs to be handed back it could be 1 year or it could be a few months -I live in CPH and driving all the way to S borg sometimes as much as every few months gets tedious-You have no idea if the car is new or used One car that i picked up was severly used i dont understand how they could lease this out if they had inspected it-I love the idea of getting haveing mid sized family car and the upgrading to a larger car during vacations family events but the garage has always been limited and after several years i had no choice but to stick with the car i had as theres simpy wasnt another option with the day to day rides -Expect to pay full insurance costs when you drop off the car that is 5000 DKK Make sure you document with video pictures as they come back to you a week after dropping off the car as there will be disputes I dont know why dribe dont do as notrmal rental companies do and inspect the car with you or perhaps they could use video surveillance As when its your word against theirs you have no comback without evidence -I have been told on several occasion that i had to hand back the current car with Zero warning A few times it was days on one occasion the car wasnt had to be handed back that day casuing me to stay home from work -When you get into trouble and need roadside assistance or need VW group to help it can get very complex We had a flat tyre that took days to resolve as the local VW dealer didnt want to engage due to it being dribe Another occasion we had a technical fault with a battery going flat constantly and again VW didnt want to help initially and when they did it was prioritised lower than other customers expect to alot of explaining and getting dribe to talk to VW group -For new rides pricing varies wildly from month to month Perhsp unfair to Dribe and more due to the market volatility with supply chain shortagesPros-staff is always pleasant to deal with-however staff can be slow to resolve issues particularly with errors in payment or errors in the app which require manual entry-if you need a car for a limited time frame then its a good option

Generally satisfied with the service
Generally satisfied with the service and the quality of cars but recently the service has become really bad To mention a few 1 Had to hand back car without proactive notice2 Zero cars to book when handing back an old one 3 Promises of new cars not coming trueI have had a car for almost a year and I checked the return date in the app and the contract and it was stated it was January 2026 Then by coincidence check my bank balance and they were only going to charge me for 1 2 a month I contacted the customer service and they said I had to hand the car back A bit surprised but I thought no problem But when I went to book a new car there was only a fiat 500 which is not suitable for a large family I checked the following days still same problem - no new cars I then wrote customer service and asked if they could prolonge my current car They said it wasn t possible but new cars would be coming It has been this way for som time now and they still just communicate new cars a coming without it materializing I really wondering if they are in some sort of financial troubles or closing up It would be a shame because I have been a satisfied customer

Disappointed because of unclear booking terms
Update 06-09-2023 I have been in contact with Dribe over this and as I have experienced also on other occasions they have a really good customer service team so in general I consider Dribe a 4-5 star company I have increased my review from 2 to 3 stars for this instance and my other review of 5 stars still stands In this case I don t fully agree with the response from Dribe I believe it is unfair that Dribe cancels Day2Day points if you swap from EV to non-EV and I also believe that that was not communicated properly back when I was booking rides now it is mentioned in the booking flow On top of this I find that from a customer perspective it is poor that Drive expires your rewards 90 days after returning a particular ride because in my view I have a subscription with Dribe and I expect my rewards to count across my bookings Of course they may be expired at a certain time but that should be done on a periodic basis like the airlines do I think it is important that people that are considering Dribe realise this beforehand I have rented 10 cars with Dribe over a period of 2 years and was generally a happy customer see my other 5 star review I at some point was offered the choice to get the more expensive Str m pakke when selecting an electric car and it said when booking that you would get a Clever brick included but you would also get a credit of 1 day of Day2Day rental per month if I remember correctly So I was under the impression that I would be saving up free Day2Day rides as long as I chose the Str m pakke It turned out that every time you change cars the Day2Day balance expires i e it does not carry over This was not clear during the booking process but I understand it was mentioned somewhere in the lejekontrakt Due to this I missed more than 10 days of Day2Day rides and I feel that this was not communicated properly

Fantastic Dribe support
I have been a costumer at Dribe for approximately 4 months Apparently an error had happen on my profile where it send different days to deliver back the car I had I called their support and got through to Nichlas - He helped me through with everything in the matter of no time I got a new car ordered to just swap over on the delivering date got told I didn t need to clean or put full in the old one Due to it being sold and got a large discount on my new car since the error massages had generated some workload It has probably been the best support I have received for years and all of the support I have been in contact with at Dribe has always meet me with a smile and friendly mindset I will 100 recommend Dribe
