We signed up for the app on 8 January 2023 hoping to get a cancellation before a booked test on 13 April 2023 Very happy with the communications with the support staff We received a cancellation text on 7 February 2023 1 day before the end of the money back 30 day cancellation period for a test on the following day Unfortunately due to other commitments we were unable to accept this I m very disappointed not to have received further cancellations It s hard to justify the money spent

In 6 days since I joined the app has found me ONE test for 5 months time I have had to go onto the DVSA website myself and managed to get a test for next month Absolute scam The 5-star reviews are cleary their friends and employees Don t give them your money Don t read the 5-star reviews I have asked for a refund but they are unwilling to refund me

they found a test date just before 10 days of my actual booking which does not make any sense I emphasised I need short notice bookings but they did not send me any of them within almost 2 weeks

Do not purchase The good reviews are only because after you purchase the company asks you to leave a review for a free upgrade despite this upgrade level not being advised before buying what I assumed was a full service The app started by sending me tests one every couple of days however more times than not when I texted back within the time span I had a notification saying for some reason it could not be competed After about 3 weeks of the app working like this I then started to receive maybe 1 a month or less even tho I knew people using other apps getting offers a lot more frequently for the same locations For instance I just had my test early April and the last time I received any new test text was 1st March

I bought 3 driving cancellation service apps for my test in Jun 2023 I got chance to swap with my friend driving booking in mid of Jan I passed the driving test and requested refund from the 3 service providers Among the 3 providers only Genie refused as the T C stated refund can only be applied after 30 days of no cancellation For one-time service less than 20 pound I would not go throught the tedious T C The other 2 providers could refund once got my request without any question that make sense but not Genie Update on 2 Feb No matter 1 I sent mail to support email of drivingtestgenie co uk as following feedback and 2 sent my contact information to trustpilot for Genie feedback and 3 resent my refund request to Genie there is NO feedback at all from them let alone investigation Everybody can see the creditability here

For 7 months I didn t received any cancellations I put 3 test centre and nothing AND I didn t cancel my appointments I failed my driving test and after failed I was sending to you my new reference number

My experience with this company was very bad I saw the ad on the internet and the reviews it seemed to have good credibility and honesty but everything starts after the payment As soon as I paid for the cancellation request I immediately sent an email and asked to cancel my subscription and get my money back because I wasn t going to use the service and I paid and regretted it The customer service representative s response was to say that the rules were clear and that they would refund the money after 30 days if I didn t receive any notification to cancel I immediately responded to GENIE support and requested my refund and the person pretending not to understand sent a cancellation date so that they could use this as a service provision and not refund my money I paid and sent an email to cancel it was immediate The company s policy of not listening to the consumer s situation and carrying out the procedure to return the order is terrible GENIE I just want my money back I don t want the service Be careful with this company Leaving a customer satisfied and possibly praising and promoting the service is better than leaving them unhappy Throwing away 14 99 to not get the service is very bad

I ve been waiting a couple of months for a cancellation and will finally come up a minute ago I replied the word book within two minutes of receiving the text and it replied back to me thisDriving Test Genie - Unable to confirm booking for Tuesday 24 October 2023 11 21 please check your email for confirmation from DVSA or contact usThinking I might as well download the d cancellations 4 all as I can t keep being messed around by these guys I ll give them time to reply and sort the issue out but if I don t hear bk within a week I m moving

For a while I didn t receive test notifications which they did sort out When the texts did come through I only got 8 offers in 5 months The offers received were usually for the next day or 2 days after which was very hard to prepare for They unfortunately wouldn t give me a refund when I wanted to try another service

It s a scam app I have received notifications for new tests with short cancellation and accepted to book but it was cancelled always or genie was not able to book it So it is just waste of money My user name is same as showing on trustpilot I contacted you regarding not being able to rebook by genie your team told me that you cannot do anything about that So contacting you separately there might not be any solution
