Terrible quality aftercare

Do not hire this company We had a new electric garage door installed by Eastern garage doors which we ve had nothing but issues with the company insist on charging us to rectify The frame is scuffed all the way down from installationThe fobs supplied are awful quality and 2 out of 3 have already stopped workingThe top face plate of the door is so flimsy that it bangs rattles in the slightest wind 400 to rectify The manual override was forgotten then completely bodged has now snapped off after using twice 600 vat to rectify Our next door neighbour also have issues with their door

Poor service They fitted the garage door wrong and locks now working properly i chased them for months to come back to sort out still no chance Never recommended to anyone

Great customer service

I contacted EGD with an issue and was put in touch with Karl from the Technical department We exchanged several messages via WhatsApp most of which were outside normal working hours which shows how committed Karl was to helping me resolve my issue He was always extremely helpful professional and very quick to respond in offering solutions Great customer service

Awning Blinds

Anyone can make a mistake - its how you deal with it The surveyor came and measured up for an electrically operated awning and external blinds but unfortunately measured the drop for the blinds incorrectly When it came to the installation the problem was found by the fitters who re-measured our windows and after a further delivery delay returned to fit the blinds On both visits the fitters were very professional explaining the problem and apologising profusely leaving the work area clean and tidy on their departure We are very pleased with the end result and would recommend EGD and its awning blinds products It was a shame about the incorrect measurements - hence only the 4-star review
