Company is alright and I passed everything first time but no mention about telling me to send off for my tacho card which I thought was a bit rubbish because I thought the whole point was to walk me through the process from start to finish I have a feeling that they didn t bother because they don t get any money out of me for that Once I passed my final test I was told that my details would be passed on to the recruitment team and they would contact me within 48 hours and that was at least 10 days ago and I still haven t received a call email or anything at all fortunately I got a job the day after passing off my own back otherwise I d still be sat waiting so don t let the whole we help you find a job side of things influence your decision when choosing a company to get through your test with Finally don t believe all the 5 star reviews you re seeing here because the company literally rings you up to ask you to leave a 5 star review to be in with a chance of winning an expensive bottle of champagne which personally I feel is pretty low bribing 5 star reviews haha Needless to say I put one because who doesn t love a freebie but may as well edit it now to be a true evaluation of my time with easy as HGV

Training was ok but the introductions every day was way too long This took an hour every day and should be brief 15 mins at the most

The experience was ok They set up my training quickly Very keen to sell stuff I m not sure you need though and I d say it would of been cheaper to go direct to a training company my self Shop around people

Very good service but personally i don t think there is a need for a broker The paperwork is easy to complete and send off and it will save you some money However the service I received was great and am very thankful

Very good service in general a bit disappointed in my experience I have got my c driving license so I needed only e to be done and got charged for full c e and also been sent to do my medical which I didn t need to do it Apart of that everything else excellent

Overall I found the whole experience very good Initial contact and making the bookings were easy and very efficient The training itself was very well presented by Steve and Mel They made it entertaining and informative The only thing that has made me drop a couple of stars was the issue of my first day which fell on the 19th September As we all know it was an unexpected public holiday and the funeral of our Queen Whilst I appreciate that not everyone was necessarily interested in watching the event I was and I know that a large number of people did the same In addition it caused child care issues for me and so I needed the day off I assumed that as it was a one off and unprecedented event that the training would be rescheduled However I was told that the training was to go ahead and that if I didn t attend I would forfeit the fee I didn t attend and hence I lost my money I have since completed that training module with another company In summary a very good and well known company who I feel have let themselves down a little by operating whilst most of the country had shut down for the day

I have so far only done online CPC classes with Enterprise Transport Training whom you employ for that part of the training I found the online classes had more cons than pros The tech was not reliable not just mine but others as well and paricipating was not as free as it would have been in a class room

No need to use a broker I used EasyAsHGV You could do everything they did for me and save money I was told I could be passed in 6 - 8 weeks that s inaccurate I did mine at brake neck speed and it took over 12 weeks I was told once I d passed I d be on the rd once again this wasn t accurate Once passed all company s require you to have a CPC which with EAHGV is 400 I did mine with a an independent company for 300 Once you ve paid your money I found it very difficult to get a response to any of my emails I was also told when signing up that there are lots of test centres in my area with lots of availability When I went to book my practical training the only place that had availability was over 1 hours drive away If I didn t take that spot I d have to wait 3 months for somewhere closer to home Also when signing up I was giving the option of splitting the payment over 4 monthly payments However I was called every 2 weeks requesting my next payment if I didn t make the payment then it would delay me from moving to the next stage I did pass first time but that was down to sheer determination and a lot of time and travelling Don t use a broker ring around your local HGV trading centres They can do everything EAHGV can do for less money

I had to keep ringing them although they said they would get back to me that day this went on for for about a week

Thinks started well with the theory test then the cpc mod4 but the 3b I was not giving enough driving time only one day of training and that was not what I was told on the email I was send
