A very good loft conversion

We had our rather large loft converted into two good sized double bedrooms by Econoloft and are very pleased with the result From our first meeting with Danny we were impressed as this very knowledgeable young man was able to advise on the best configuration and design and what pleased us most from that meeting is there was no hint of pressure selling Having had other quotes we also found Econoloft offered better value and as an established company with insurance backed guarantees we felt confident Order was placed after time to consider carefully plans drawn up and accepted to meet our needs and then we waited for teams to be available to start Econoloft supply the materials and back up and arrange suitable teams to carry out the work many plus points although the anticipated completion time had to be extended partly due to delay in supply of some materials and also covid restrictions it did take longer than we had hoped We had a few problems with water ingress which caused us a lot of stress but the quality of work in general was very good Was it all plain sailing well sadly not always but what building projects are and staff at the offices and particularly at West Wickham did their very best I have to say we were certainly not happy with the minimal offer of recompense for damaged decorations caused by the water problem but that was down to one director The teams in general worked well and we had some superb work especially by the appointed plasterer plumber and electrician as well as the two main men The important thing is after all this we have two good sized comfortable new bedrooms that our grandchildren especially absolutely love and we are pleased too of course Always happy to discuss with anyone interested in Econoloft who is considering a loft conversion I would actually make this a four and a half point review but did not think four was enough

Excellent Quality Loft Conversion Experience - Econoloft

Given how big the loft conversion decision is we wanted to share our experience to help others make their choice We were very excited but quite anxious and worried about conducting what is major construction at our property in converting our loft into a new family space Whilst we are sure there is not a perfect company or perfect experience we feel the process approach and experience of using Econoloft was exactly what we were and could have hoped for really They arranged for visits to recent conversions and we had a fair few visits from Econoloft to talk through the quote and contract We were impressed with their knowledge and experience and we appreciated their complete understanding that we wanted as little disruption as possible to our day to day life so they worked hard to give lots of notice to noise and always accessed the loft from the ladders scaffolding and roof etc and only asked for access to the property when necessary We liked the delivery process and phasing of the project stages and payments as well as advice and access to an site manager who helped resolve any onsite issues The quality of the work has been spot on too and they were very flexible and accommodating when I wanted to do some extra work It has all come together nicely and a good experience Happy to recommend Econoloft for loft conversion projects

A Professional and Capable Company

Of the five companies we contacted to take on the project Econoloft proved to be the most professional during the initial stages from the first appointment drawing up the plans planning application and ensuring all the required materials were in place at the correct time They also arranged for the scaffolding to be completed and signed off by the appointed day The project was the conversion of a double hip gable roof which entailed the construction of a completely new roof The construction led by head joiner Sotir and his team proceeded at pace and was completed in an impressive eight weeks The quality of the workmanship from each trade builder plasterer plumber and electrician was first class Always happy to go that extra mile Sotir ensured the smooth running of the construction with minimal inconvenience A job of this size will always present unforeseen potential problems but Sotir was always able to suggest solutions drawing on his considerable experience We are very happy with the new space created covering the footprint of the house and congratulate all involved on a well-managed and executed project Thank you

Sotir Master builder

After comparing several companies we decided to award our loft conversion to Econoloft We found the company to be competitive with a no nonsense approach but what really stood out for Econoloft was their choice of Head builder Sotir and his team Sotir clearly knows his profession and at times can be quite annoying as he is a perfectionist and will politely refuse to do a job if he feels its cutting corners and compromising standards Sotir and his team are dedicated always arrive on time and have a tremendous work ethic Sotir and his team created a wonderful loft We were so pleased with the loft we appointed Sotir and his team again to complete our extension it was great to see Tony and Lonny again who are so proficient in their trade Again Sotir worked hard to create a magnificent space for our family Sotir is such a kind paitent and hard working master builder which is a very rare find I cannot praise him enough as he has created a practical modern and wonderful family home
