We chose Colin and the team after getting several quotes they weren t the cheapest quote but from the outset they were confident about how they could achieve our ideas and what we wanted as it was a non-standard loft design we wanted so we felt confident and they certainly didn t let us down They worked tirelessly to achieve our vision and nothing was too much trouble from the pocket doors false wall hiding the en-suite and additional windows to add light In addition and what has really made the difference has been the after care There were a few issues that needed addressing normal in any building job even months after as little things came up they have returned with no questions and sorted things out We are planning more work and will not hesitate to use Colin and his family again

Modern loft rooms was very professional when they built my loft conversion everything was on time in the 5 week time scale that they gave me The company was very reliable and committed to my needs to the bespoke build as I have disabilities and needed special requirements to my home and my situation I would defently recommend this company and the guys where very friendly and professional and got the job 100 completed to my specifications

Building our dream home

Came across Modern Loft Rooms by chance - a lucky internet search As we looked for quotes for our 30sqm extension and garage conversion Colin called up and popped over to give us a very good and competitive quote and talked us through the process They started promptly in July 2021 and finished 13 weeks later Despite a few delays caused by fuel strikes and COVID Colin and the team endeavored to get the job done and to a high standard Thanks to Colin and the team we now have doubled the size of our lounge doubled our kitchen size and gained two new rooms a utility room and a playroom Our house has become more than just a home but our dream home We will definitely be recommending Colin and the team at Modern Loft Rooms to our family friends and colleagues

We ve come across Modern Loft Rooms through what ended up being a rather fortuitous recommendation Colin and the team were superb from pre-start to finish Colin was prompt in communicating with us to asses our project and went above and beyond our expectations Our property has ceilings of nearly 4m of height This at times has added layers of concern to different contractors however Modern Loft Rooms was not fazed by it The team was attentive to meet our every aim - always polite professional and extremely detailed and efficient in their approach They ve quickly brought our vision to life an extended feature wall with recess features to one side and an inset electric fireplace Colin and his team managed the project in its entirety from assessing the structural plans shifting electric wires positioning liaising with an external contractor of mine and co-ordinating plastering I can t rate Colin his team and Modern Loft Rooms highly enough Highly recommend

We called modern loft rooms because of there great reviews and can say we made the right choice for them change our loft to a family room The guys was out standing and couldn t praise them any more hen what they did for us was all ways helpful on time and there cleaning was great at the end of each day The company was not cheap or to expensive but just came in the middle to meet our budget and needs for more works to be carried out in all the bedrooms We would like to say thank you modern loft rooms we really appreciate your time and efforts through out the 6 weeks you was here We will definitely use this company again and would recommend them any day Many thanks Debbie

Excellent and professional work

Colin and his colleagues built a first fix loft dormer on my semi detached house in December 2020 - Jan 2021 Their work was professional and tidy at all times from start to finish They was also incredibly respectful of covid situations They always kept me up to date on what has been completed and any next steps They also provided great advice throughout their work and they always answered any questions i had in great detail When the work was completed my partner and I were very impressed I would absolutely recommend Colin and his team to anyone looking to add a dormer to their loft or any other work I will definitely be using them again for any future work I have done on my house

Victorian terrace dorma loft extension

I met Colin via my architect and since the first phone call he has been immensely helpful and is a knowledgeable guy in his trade Throughout the loft extension works the quality of workmanship has been great and he was excellent in answering any questions I fired his way Overall a lovely bloke who delivered on what he promised at a fair price and was a pleasure to have working in the house Will 100 use again in the future
