Worst credit company there is
i applied and got the embark card i then tried to use it to pay my federal taxes but it was declined customer service could not explain why this was considered fraud presumably a large amount early in the card history however i was charged a convenience fee by the card processor despite the actual tax payment failing i disputed the incorrectly charged fee but embark did not handle the dispute for approximately 2 months but eventually the merchant charged back the incorrect charges meanwhile embark charged me late fees and interest and never has reversed those i received approximately 20 dunning phone calls from them after not paying the disputed amount calls more than once per day and no rep had any incentive to fix the actual problem despite acknowledging there was a dispute they just wanted to collect i paid the undisputed portion of the bill the following month a week after i paid it they locked the card because of the size of my payment which was just the amount due finally today i tried to talk with them without success so cancelled the account they still think i owe them money

cant log in into my account
I recently had an experience with Embark Credit Card and unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone The interest rates are simply too high making it an unattractive option for customers While the card may offer some benefits the excessive interest charges outweigh any positives I hope the company considers revising their rates to be more competitive and fairer to their customers Until then I would advise looking for alternative credit card options with more reasonable interest rates

Is anyone else being charged 1 00 even
Is anyone else being charged 1 00 even when you don t have a bill I am being charged 1 00 including in the bill and after the bill is paid off I called customer service and the rep could not even answer my question I don t understand why charge a dollar even when I have no bill I heard that if you don t pay attention the dollar every month adds up So please look at your account with this company I am very unpleased I found out because I always check my accounts If not I would not have known this

Poor customer service lack of contact
I started with the company in January I made 2 charges I tried to look at the charges in late January and I couldn t get in So the agent said that I needed to reset my profile I did and I got in I went to make a payment on February and the same thing happened again and I was again ask to reset my profile I was again able to get in and made my payment I tried to reenter the app 5 minutes later and couldn t When I was going to make my March payment I was again told that I need to reset my profile I refused as this was the third time I requested that I speak to tech Support I was told that they couldn t do that I as to speak to a manager I was also told we can t do that I stated that I needed to hear from someone either tech or management or I would close the account A week past and neither happened This is the level Support this company has

Declined when used
I have the card for almost a year now and it has been very frustrating to say the least I have only been able to make two charges due to the fact the rest where declined my limit is pretty high so there is no reason for the card to have declined my purchased called support each time it happen also requested a new cars with new card number but it still declined charges got letter in the mail saying my card was temporarily suspended and that I needed to call so I called and then they told me to get the card back on I would need to send a copy of my current utility bill and driver license this is beyond unnecessary I understand fraud is at an all time high but I have never had this kind of experience with a credit card before

Everything is great so far
I love that this card offers a good credit limit and gave me an increase for making my payments The APR is the best one out of all my cards
