I suffered severe spine problems after
I suffered severe spine problems after failed surgery and was forced to stop working I was self employed in the heating industry My insurance wouldn t cover me for being off work so I was forced to sell my home and everything I owned to pay off my creditors One of these creditors Unique Plumbing in Hampshire refused to wait for my home sale to go through and contacted Robinson s to put a block on any money I got from the sale of my home going anywhere before them They knew full well I was disabled and knew full well that I had sold my home and it took four months to sort through yet still wanted to punish me with a further 150 in charges on top of the 1100 I owed I promised to pay them as soon as I got my money but they didn t trust me When the proceeds from the sale went through I was held up paying my other creditors because of this lot and will never forgive them I speak to many people and steer them clear of Eric Robinson because of their attitude to disabled people who have suffered terrible losses in life through no fault of their own I lost everything including because of my spine problem and this lot of parasites wanted a little bit more on top Despicable and I ll never forgive them for stressing be out while everything was crumbling I paid all my creditors by the way and not one of them behaved like this I had corrective surgery on my spine and am making a good recovery after 2 years of hell so will be back to work ASAP and certainly won t be spending my money with Unique Plumbing or ER If you want to hire people with these ethics against the disabled then go ahead

Very Overpriced and poor customer client service provided
I would give them O stars if the selection was available Quick in trying to bill their customers for poor and very overpriced work and opaque charging involving company dispute work I came to them because they had a local office in Richmond near me but couldn t use it because of the virus and lack of staff available So had to use poor quality on-line conferencing kept dropping out several times and e-mails to progress my case but was billed the maximum amount possible according to their charges When complaining about the poor client experience and support through the Client Complaints Solicitor found that the company just closes ranks for its legal staff and provides no real support or genuine personal interest for customers who are unhappy with the standard of work done and the charging billing of work I m now having to go to the Legal Ombudsman now and Eric Robinson are still trying to bill me extra for the overpriced supposed work done on my behalf Unless you are using them for very simple every day legal transactions such as conveyancing or wills etc avoid Eric Robinson As they appear completely out of their depth regarding handling company law cases professionally and with imagination apart from their hefty legal charges they eagerly pass on to customers Over 800 billed for one letter and a response if I pay their last demand It s just rip off fees to get the money in during difficult times for all of us There must be much better and more competent solicitors out there - I hope

Having accepted my instructions on three occasions within the past decade on conveyancing matters Eric Robinson declined a more recent request because I was not a current client I could not quite understand this rationale but was motivated to research this company s Trustpilot rating On the basis of 114 ratings Eric Robinson record a highly creditable 95 excellent category on Trustpilot Eric Robinson have a number of offices in SE England and I examined the last 20 ratings 14 of these relate to conveyancing matters I looked up Eric Robinson s our people portfolio of around 50 dedicated and handpicked lawyers I noticed that half of this work was undertaken by a Senior Solicitor working at the Richmond office Extrapolating from these 20 cases it can be reasonably deduced that around two thirds of the 114 reviews relate to conveyancing and half of these were undertaken by just one Senior Solicitor I would hope that this industrious member of Eric Robinson s Our People team is suitably rewarded for his commitment But on a more pragmatic note Would it not be eminently sensible for a potential client who has a non conveyancing enquiry to select a firm of solicitors for whom it s Trustpilot review is NOT based largely on clients feedback on conveyancing matters but reflects a a greater range of legal work and practise

Poor Communication
The whole experience was incredibly frustrating and costly due to poor communication from our solicitor The advice given was at times confusing and in the main didn t provide us with anything we didn t already know Having engaged legal representation trying to establish the cost for advocacy in court was protracted and information ambiguous resulting in numerous emails to clarify which we were charged for Whilst the company may have solicitors who clearly articulate the process to their clients and support them sadly in our case this didn t happen the experience was stressful as such I would not recommend using them Thank you for responding Please advice who I should contact in regards to this I dealt with your Hedge End office on a tenancy related matter

A truly horrible experience
I was swayed into using Eric Robinson by their apparently good reviews In hindsight I should ve paid more attention to the bad reviews because they were much closer to how my experience was I had instructed ER to do my conveyancing on a flat I was to purchase I had to chase her to see if she d received my mortgage offer she said she had and would report on it shortly She then IGNORED ME for 6 weeks Despite me emailing asking questions submitting my surveyors report and asking for updates I feel I was treated appallingly I ended up pulling out of the purchase and asked to be billed for the work done so far The bill for legal fees I received was 91 of the bill quoted for completion We hadn t even drafted contracts there was still much to be done I estimate I aborted around 50 of the way through I asked for their complaints procedure and complained The response I got was shocking given the circumstances They got extremely defensive and went on the attack accusing me of trying to get out of paying for work they d done I had made it very clear that I expected to pay a fair price for the work carried out thus far and I find that accusation extremely unfair I am now going to write to the Ombudsman to have my complaint investigated independently It s a shame they didn t take the opportunity to resolve the issue themselves as I would just like to forget this experience and move on but I won t be walked all over

We were recommended Eric Robinsons solicitors to deal with the conveyancing sale of my home I would not recommend Solicitor Hannah Jones as she behaved in a very unprofessional manner from the start towards myself Loosing or mislaying important documents sent to her requesting additional copies at my expense on several occasions This lead to her refusing to correspond at all with me throughout the 6 months it took to complete the house sale She ignored all my calls and never responded to my emails Hannah Jones behaviour caused me so much anxiety and stress which I ll never forget so rude and unprofessional and totally incompetent in my experience If you want a quick sale by a professional solicitor I d steal clear of Hannah Jones

Avoid the Conveyancing Team of Eric Robinson Solicitors in Chandlers Ford if you possibly can I chose them over an internet-based conveyancer because I thought it would be useful to have local access But I found them to be uncommunicative and extremely slow in the relatively simple conveyancing of a small terraced house in Eastleigh I have a further 3 properties to sell in the next few months and I have this particular company tagged as a definite Don t Buy rather than a Best Buy

Very poor service
I have used the Bitterne office of Eric Robinson for the conveying of my home They were very poor The lack and timing of communication was shockingly bad I had reason to use their internal complaints procedure twice but the poor service remained constant and across all four members of staff that I had dealings with I would not recommend to anyone to use this firm of solicitors for conveyancing The service given is neither professional or adequate
