This company has been trying to repair my hot water fault for 2 years They still haven t done it Was told at the beginning of October that the heat source unit needed a new circuit board I ve heard nothing since

A few tradesmen are incompetent including the lead engineer They didn t listen to the the tenant reporting the fault The head engineer misdiagnosed the fault replacing the water tank making no difference to the fault The lead engineer told me how some heating engineers are ex warrant officers in the army as if this made up for the them being rude and incompetent I was baffled by his story of what rank him and his colleagues used to be in a different career I received a letter from Hewer notifying me of an appointment they had made unfortunately the postman delivered the letter 2 hours after the appointment time The letter also threatened that I may be breaching my tenancy agreement and my work manager would be notified that I missed the appointment To add insult to injury they never arrived after me waiting in for them The company would benefit from training their staff to be polite Not to give out stories about previous careers Listening to the tenant reporting the fault and spending more time being more accurate with a repair will be far more cost affective than wasting money on expansive parts and labour Also notifying customers of appointments before they occur would be useful

Awful wanted an engineer to look at my boiler sounding like a hammer drill gargling and boiling off from the gas vent They called back on a generic mobile number which they did not advise they would do while I was on a Voice Conference I called them back within 10 min they cut me off I called back lines were unavailable I finally managed to talk to someone 30 min later who said you did not answer your phone and it s too late now next availability is tomorrow It was their fault I could not get back to them and they are supposed to give me 1-hour notice anyway

Phoned official lady I spoke to was very professional Asked advice from someone in the office Will ring you back after a meeting which never happened

Always found Hewers to be reliable and helpful so upgraded to their central heating package last year for 365 day peace of mind Rang today to report a leaking radiator in the hope that it would be seen to in a reasonable time frame-after some initial discussions where it looked as if nothing would be done for several days I received a very welcome phone call to say someone would be out tomorrow at 8am Well done Hewers for sorting this out and realising that it was not acceptable to wait A very satisfied customer

After all the furore of being told they would not patch the problem until the part was ordered they sent a decent bloke He fixed the issue with the boiler and we were able to have a shower and heating again Thanks hewer for listening to the little guy 5

Honest Review Cons- We were without hot water for 2 weeks waiting for an engineer to attend due to Hewers being busy Pros - Greg was awesome Arrived on time and within minutes diagnosed the hot water fault and fixed the problem Friendly and professional Thank you Greg

Engineer came out and was fantastic He fixed our noisy boiler and checked its performance Not only was he professional and friendly but he came out within 4 hours of being called as we had a newborn baby in the house

Gas engineer Grenville Holdsworth He went above and beyond to sort out the problem with our boiler as we had been without heating and hot water for a few days Grenville came out order the parts same day and came asap to re-install would recommend to anyoneMassive thanks home now feels like HeavenVery very knowledgable Guy
