Worst customer experience ever My agent had informed me trees needed to be trimmed away from my house or I may be cancelled I called a crew out and had it done the next week She came and took pictures to send to Corporate and told me it looked good Two months later I received notice not from Sabine not from Farmers but from MY BANK-- that my policy had been cancelled 10 days prior I don t know who dropped the ball my agent or Farmers but it wasn t me I found the agent to be largely unresponsive to the issue and found another company to go with three weeks after the cancellation I intend to let the State insurance board know what happened Maybe I m not the only one this has happened to Maybe it was less a mistake and more a tactic like Red Lining

I ve been with the company for 8 years They decided to change my payment schedule and said they sent a letter in the mail asking me to confirm the banking info I never received this and they canceled my insurance without notification No certified letter or email Then they wouldn t reinstate Stay away from this company

Do not insure your home with Farmers Insurance They will gratefully accept your premium dollars for years and then for no reasonable explanation cancel your policy without any discussions or negotiations Their typical sales rep is useless in these matters Avoid them at all cost

Still waiting on my refund after cancelling Dec 6th

When I purchased my Home 1 year ago in October my Real Estate suggested Farmers Insurance I spoke with Nicholas Chupp because I was in the middle of my closing inspections I did not want to go through the hassle of switching my 4 vehicles as well so he quoted me 787 00 so now I find out a year later that Farmers raised me to 1500 I found same coverage through Auto Owners for 1051 now I am still waiting for my refund since Dec 6th so when I called the office yesterday Jeff said well Peggy if you don t receive the refund by New Year then give us a call back Merry Christmas

This is honestly the worst insurance company I ever dealt with I was a customer of theirs for only two weeks because it was a complete disaster in those two weeks I signed up with Jacob Chopa Who did not add the correct coverages and when I contacted him he told me he would call me back by the end of the day he never did so for the next three days I called and emailed but he completely ignored me I then spent the next two weeks talking to customer service reps who each time assured me everything would be fine They told me they took my payment and that I was all paid in full yet the money was still in my bank account The final straw is when one of the Farmers agents called me back and then I guess they thought they put me on hold but didn t I proceeded to hear him whispering with some female and she said oh no don t tell her that and they were talking about my account until finally I said excuse me you know I can hear you right As soon as I said that they hung up the phone I called back and cancelled

Horrible communications and customer service qualities Very unprofessional group of people who are either poorly trained educationally unprepared for the job or just downright crooked Everything that can go wrong is likely to go wrong and they can t figure out why Other companies just plain do better in all respects

Don t Just Walk Away Run

So I was a loyal costumer of Farmers Insurance 5 years and then they screwed me over by tying my policy with a complete stranger who caused my insurance policy to fail Unfortunately for me I had moved college student and the mailing address had change so I did not get the information of my failed insurance policy I only discovered I didn t have insurance when I got pulled over which resulted in a 380 fine and a mark on my driving record I asked to see if Farmers state would make it right and to my disgust I couldn t even get another equal policy because my last policy had fail due to the complete stranger that they tied to me and they wanted to charge me even more Basically Farmers state is a scam and don t just walk away RUN
