When the Mirror arrived the driver said he would need help unloading the Mirror If I had been an old person this would have been impossible for a 33kg mirror

I have been trying for over a week to

I have been trying for over a week to get any response from this company I telephoned and they asked for photographs and measurements which I sent the same day Absolutely no response whatsoever so I telephoned the four days later The lady who I spoke to was surprised I had had no response and promised me an estimate that night It never came so I chased by email 48 hours later and got no resposne I just called again and was put through to head office who say they are only there to field calls if the store s lines are busy but have promised to pass my details on to the store 8 days after sending them all the details they asked for and I have absolutely zero response I see a review below that said he had it all done in 24hrs I can only conclude on the basis of service I have had that this is an internally generated friendly revue Come on fitted Mirrors - you seem to be trying very hard to loose a customer - Please get back to me urgently I ll update this post when I hear from them so if there is no update you will know they never got back to me They got back to me in minutes They are templating next week and installing week after - I m therefore improving my rating a bit - but lest see how the next two bits go before I go any higher lower and finalise

Great product shame about customer service

The mirror itself is excellent cut to right size bevelled bronze tint and easy j clip fixings recommended by knowledgeable lady on phone The problem lies with setting expectations of a 24 hour delivery accepting a couple of extra days for bevelling and tint This was ordered on 3rd of Oct and was delivered on 11th This in itself would not have been a problem if I had been told this at the outset The 3 unreturned phone calls and 2 emails are the problem To have 210 taken from your account and then not be kept up to date on when you can expect the item is a problem James did eventually call me back to say mirror was on its way to being delivered I would sincerely order from FM G again if I was kept up to date with Amazon style updates on the order and also knowing that item will arrive eventually and that my hard earned cash hasn t been stolen

Ordered a mirror 400mm X 400mm but

Ordered a mirror 400mm X 400mm Got a mirror 400mm x 402mm Luckily it fits in the frame it was intended for but that s by luck not design Not sure why the sizing would be out like that no mention on the website about possible manufacturing issues that I should have factored in The mirror itself though apart from the size is exactly as ordered So a pretty neutral review here from me

Mixed experience

I ve had a mixed experience with FMG - From order to delivery was 8 working days which is within the window they quote though my order was straightforward 2 small rectangular mirrors - The delivery driver stopped at the top of my road and told me if I wanted my order I d need to come and get it I was looking after my 2yo alone so I couldn t just leave He was rude to me when he finally brought it to the door I paid over 20 for delivery - The mirrors seem to be of good quality the finished edges are very nicely done apart from the dubbed corners which look a bit amateur - One of the mirrors came with surface marks but I got a call from someone very helpful who talked me through how to remove them which took about 10 mins plus they promised to send me some wire wool in the post Their customer service seems excellent it s the rest of it that let them down a bit

Excellent product BUT no communication

Excellent product BUT no communication regarding delivery except a call 2 minutes beforehand to confirm address No packaging on the mirror - which was very large and given no warning of delivery left us in a very difficult position with regards to handling and storage Most suppliers inundate you with delivery emails - FM G you need to follow suit That said the mirror is fantastic

Nice easy to navigate website which made ordering bespoke size mirror very simple received email confirmation of order the only thing that I didn t receive was confirmation of when the delivery was due just lucky someone was in to receive the delivery

First time used this company

First time used this company for purchasing of mirror made to measure The mirror is already fitted and I am happy The mirror was well packed The despatch and delivery took longer than what they promised but I didn t chase it because I wasn t on rush to fit it Also I think the delivery is a bit too expensive for not that big mirror but anyway
