Don t expect a swift delivery

Ordered a replacement 13kg butane cylinder for home delivery I assumed this would be 2 or 3 days delivery at most No confirmation email has arrived after 6 hours so logged on to my account and it says that the cylinder is expected in 2 weeks time Not very happy and think Flogas could have provided more information of delivery timescale at the point of ordering on the web site

Their service is terrible

Their service is terrible Latest example they came and did not get an answer at the door so the left the bottle and charged me for not collecting an empty So I phoned up and arranged the collection of the empty All good so far Their system said they had been but they hadn t collected the empty or removed the charge I phoned again They came out took the empty Great huh However they also left a full one I had not ordered and because there was not another empty charged me for the refill I did not order want or need and for there not being a second empty to be collected This takes a special level of incompetence

Driver stole my gas cylinder

Following on from my previous review in which Flogas charged me a total of 86 00 for an empty cylinder which I couldn t return due to illness I placed an order for a new cylinder My order was for one full cylinder and returning one empty cylinder So why did the driver take TWO empty cylinders One of these I have paid for in full and it belongs to me Correct me if I m wrong but the cylinder charge that s paid when you first order a cylinder is kind of a deposit on that cylinder right It s a charge in case that cylinder doesn t get returned right So why WITH NO COMMUNICATION EITHER BY PHONE OR EMAIL did I get charged an additional 47 50 when I couldn t get the empty cylinder to the collection point as I was in bed unconscious and ill Then Your driver takes an additional empty cylinder steals it in effect than was on his order He manually amended the delivery note to two from one I want a refund of 86 00 please

What a joke

What a joke Rang flogas to pay for 2x19kg bottles prior to collecting from Burnley depot I was told there s no need to pay before collection best pay at the depot I enquired about opening hours for Burnley depot was told 4 30pm closing I arrived at 4 01 pm to see a guy closing the gates he said 4pm closing I then rang the office again I was then told Burnley was 5pm closing I explained I was at the closed gates He then put me on hold then a few minutes later told me it was indeed 4pm closing at Burnley How a company like Flogas survives when making such basic errors is beyond me No apology no regrets Time to find an alternative supplier I feel

We have not had any gas supplied for 4

We have not had any gas supplied for 4 days now I have small children in the house with no heat or hot water I ve spent the last 4 days chasing customer services up who just fob you off and say you will get a call back which I still haven t received For such an expensive service of gas the service is shockingly appalling It s freezing cold and it s also illegal to leave a property without heat I hope to change companies asap

Use calor gas

This is ridiculous Follow up on my previous review Okay here we go this is the whole story I ordered and paid for 7kg did not hear delivery So no return bottle charge was added I phoned and arranged pick up of empty bottle It was not collected even though the order list said it was I phoned again ordered a new heater and a 13kg bottle as well as collection of empty 7kg The one I owed flogas A 7kg I did not order was left leaving me now with another no 7KG empty bottle chargeI phone up AGAIN to arrange collection of that unwanted 7kg and delivery of a 13kg bottle Both the full 7kg and empty 13kg was collected when the 13kg was delivered Yet I still have a no return empty charge on my account A charge for there being no empty on a 7kg bottle I did not order did not want and has since been collected How do you justify this This is beyond laughable while they send me letters about owing them money Even the fire that takes the 13kg bottles is rubbish it is super wobbly with movement of several cms I complained about that before but guess what it was ignored I bought the fire from flogas as I thought that would be a quality product so save yourself some trouble and money and just order from somewhere else even if you do use flogas for your bottles Don t bother contacting the complaint department from flogas they never even try to resolve the issues Phoning does not appear to help either their system does not seem to adequately track charges as people on the phone could not check what charges were for Which as a software developer makes me think their system is pretty poor

We were with Flogas for 20 yearsWe were with Flogas for 20 yearsThen we converted to solar panels heat source pump So we re left with a big ugly gas boiler on the wallTo get this removed we needed to get our flogas capped as we no longer need gas of any kindThis is where the fun startsThe customer service team we dealt were terrible They do not tell you anywhere in their terms and conditions about the 250 capping fee even though they will charge it they just tell you it s paragraph 6 14 in the T Cs which only mention default payersThey do not tell you they will charge you a standing charge until the meter is cappedThey do tell you they have not come across the situation of a customer wanting to have their gas disconnected So will have to find out the process whilst still charging standing chargeI would not recommend this company to my worst enemy and am very pleased to be completely rid of them

Bought a 15kg refill from there Perth

Bought a 15kg refill from there Perth depot took it home found it did not work when connected took it back to be told it had air pockets in it and had slipped through there testing system I was told they would replace it but would not give me any further discount for the faulty product they had sold me after me arguing my case for some while they eventually gave me 10 of my next refill Dreadful customer service

Keep failing to deliver the tank is now on 2

I have a bulk tank Flogas have left me with under 5 many times and 0 2 days before Christmas even though I am on automatic top-up I am again on 2 and I just got a failed delivery email today I have two elderly people here both have dementia and one is bed bound Flogas continue to leave it close to the wire Yet again I have to call tomorrow begging for a delivery before I run out of gas and the boiler and heating switch off I pay over 500 for a tank fill every 6 weeks The scheduling department needs sorting

Damage to property

A Flogas lorry reversed into the corner of our garage whilst attempting a delivery Luckily only minor damage was caused dislodged roof tile crack in roof cement bed and dislodged gutter The real issue was the driver did not report the incident to us Delivery was made and he drove off It was captured on CCTV Flogas referred the claim to their insurance company who disputed liability We contacted their customer relationship team who said Here at flogas we have no further involvement in the claim and in any case wouldn t be able to make any offers Be advised if you are letting Flogas lorries on your property
