WARNING SCAM READ THIS
WARNING I would never book with funjet again long story short We booked and paid for our trip in September As of today we have been fighting with Funjet on our trip for 2 days This is our honeymoon We booked 2 first class tickets hotel 10 days to St Lucia Resort is fully booked now Funjet bumped us from first to economy without our permission SOLD our seats for reasons they can t explain but I looked up first and today they are 4k each WAY more than what we paid in September They are a scam company They are saying we can t get our already seats back bc they already sold Not offering any solutions besides ride economy with no reimbursement This company is a complete scam and will rip you off weeks before your paid vacation to line their own pockets Their representatives give the impression they don t fully understand the call which makes it impossible to get a straight answer BEWARE

SCAMMERS They present themselves as airline on Expedia show nonexistent flights and then give you whatever they have and if that does not work for you they tell you have to pay cancellation fees They scam people and then clients have to pay the cancelation fees when even airline is not charging that Total scam Reported both Funjet and Apple Vacations to BBB as those two scam companies are affiliated P S FUNJET I AM TRYING TO TALK TO YOU 1 5hours on April 8th 3 5hours April 11th today April 12th almost an hour until your agent hang up on me AGAIN Your managers are always in meeting and then left for a day all same excuses no help So you asking for me to contact you is ridiculous You see my email address YOU CONTACT ME TO FIX THE MESS YOUR AGENT MADE

I am a travel agent and the credits my clients had on a previous reservation were communicated that they would be moved and they were not The assessed penalties and did not make my clients whole I will no longer use them as a vendor and will be seeking legal counsel to rectify this situation

Booked an all inclusive to Jamaica Riu
Booked an all inclusive to Jamaica Riu in Ocho Rios for May 27th 2020 with my parents Due to Covid the vacation was cancelled and my parents were compensated in 3 months I was told payments were credited to my account in 2 separate payments one in June 2020 and one in July 2020 I did not receive either I went to my bank to pull up all my transactions and there was no record of either payment being made I contacted Vacations To Go and was told to call Funjet which I called on a regular basis was kept on hold for over an hour every time tenth call was disconnected 1200 is my hard earned money and I refuse to let them get away with this fraudulent event I am writing this review to create a paper trail that will be used in court if need be

We booked through Funjet in August 2017 for a destination wedding as a guest I ended up not being able to travel due to high risk pregnancy reasons and submitted a doctor s note Funjet told me the hotel refunded the money through them so when I m ready I just need to book with them by March 31 2018 Contacted them in March and basically told me they never charged me WRONG - I showed them my bank statement and basically they were like we don t know what to tell you and pretty much dodged our phone calls emails The agent s name is Howard Kunzinger avoid this guy I m basically out over 1K because they are unorganized and not helpful So they basically got to keep the hotel refund and I am SOL

Only 1 star and I have not begun my vacation Going for my brothers wedding in September and when we checked flight changes found that my last name is incorrect I was told I had to cancel and rebook the entire trip for my portion which will be an additional 1830 on top of the 3474 already paid I am not sure how this happened when my name has been the same for 30 years my mother completed the booking online I pleaded to the agents to change it and the answer has been no I purchased the travel insurance and if rebooked would have to repurchase that as well I called Delta and they are willing to make the change if Funjet will add a remark to the system giving Delta permission to do so Called again the answer was no only option is to rebook Mistakes happen but not according to Funjet Vacation ruined unless I find more money that I do not have truly will never use this company again UPDATE EVENTS OF TODAY FUNJET HAS REMOVED MY RESERVATION FROM MY ONLINE ACCOUNT Spoke with customer service I have 1 option cancel and rebook Trip booked in June rates have changed dramatically I am so distrustful in this company there are no words to describe what I am feeling The response to this review is a joke HOW DO THEY JUSTIFY REMOVING MY RESERVATION The stress alone has been horrificPlease read before booking its a money grab customer care is non existent

I booked a trip and spent over 3k on it through a travel agent and ended up having to cancel due to Covid I was issued credits from Funjet and the agent failed to tell me that they expired why do travel credits even expire when it s YOUR money that wasn t used so when I went to book a trip only a month after the credits expired I wasn t able to I contacted Funjet to assist me with this and to sum it up in a few words they basically told me to take it up with the agent and that they weren t going to help Not accommodating or caring at ALL Do not waste your money on this awful company Will be trying to file a dispute

We had a trip planned in August 2021 My first and last experience with funjet The trip was during the issues with spirit airlines They cancelled my flight 10 hours before my trip Spirit refunded all my monies Funjet has done nothing for the resort monies I have insurance but because it shows I was a no show and funjet won t list it as cancelled insurance won t pay me or funjet won t refund I have written numerous letters to funjet and so has my travel agent

NEVER FUN JET EVER DON T
Our travel agent was absolutely terrible He did not respond to emails or calls for over a month The resort we chose based on his recommendation was absolutely terrible The staff was rude Our rooms were incredibly far from the main part of the resort It took us hours to get them moved closer I would never ever ever ever go on a fun jet vacation ever again My sister s daughter ended up testing positive for COVID-19 and it was an absolutely horrific nightmare trying to get her out of Jamaica do not ever use fun jet The travel agent Jim Swendsen was HORRIBLE

Funjet is the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had This place changes their answer every time we make contact with them They are liars thieves and a holes I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau Federal trade commission and my attorney general be c this stupid company refuses to refund our travel credit They initially said they would and have changed each time after that It s been months To say I hate this company is an understatement They clearly thought I was kidding when I said I would make a complaint I keep my word unlike them
