Not recommended if you may need to return an order

Most of my orders with Galaxus have gone smoothly That however only applies to things that you don t want to or need to send back Recently however I ordered a new dishwasher and this has considerably changed my opinion of Galaxus For a start the item did not ship on the date that was specified and I wasted a day staying home without ever being notified that the delivery was not coming I managed to then reschedule the delivery via the customer service without a problem but the machine was just dropped in front of my door without signature when I had clearly specified that a signature from me was needed Maybe the fault of the delivery company rather than Galaxus Could be the case but I never heard back from them when I responded to their customer survey on this order Unfortunately I found that the machine I ordered did not fit despite having been advised by Bosch s customer service that it would be the right machine that s another story Despite registering the need for a return with Galaxus immediately over the phone and then following this up with registering this on the online system as somehow the customer service had not done this for me followed by further phone calls the machine is still sitting in my living room two weeks after having been delivered No sign on any action from Galaxus to arrange a pick up which is what they said they would do In short I d be cautious using them if you are ordering something that you think may need returning as their customer support doesn t seem sufficiently organised or responsive

This is my second order as it was

This is my second order as it was cancelled by Galaxus last time as they had run out of stock The remaining product and the product I received today were not as new or in perfect condition as expected Today the parcel arrived via Swiss post in its original rather flimsy packaging just sealed with sellotape without any other packing to protect it and it was was very slightly damaged Fortunately it was not a gift and The damage had not been caused by the inadequate packaging as the contents were inside plastic bags There are however a few small marks on the product which either happened in storage or the product was not adequately inspected by the manufacturers I do not have time to return the goods and the damage is not significant enough to do so and given Galaxus do not supply return labels or packaging with the product unlike other larger online stores These experiences will prevent me from ordering from Galaxus again unless as in this case I am unable to find a product elsewhere Also you have no guest option for ordering goods and instead make consumers sign up to an account they may not want or need for a one off purchase Response to GalaxusOther companies I have ordered from enclose return instructions and labels with the item and ensure it can be returned safely in the original packaging Had I wished to return the product in question it would have necessitated the purchase of additional adequate protective packaging materials This is another reason I will not be ordering from Galaxus again if products can be obtained elsewhere

Misleading Delivery Promises Mar the Experience

It saddens me to pen down this review as I ve been an ardent customer of Galaxus Digitec for a long time However I am increasingly finding myself let down by their unmet promises especially when it comes to delivery Despite repeatedly promoting the Delivered Tomorrow service on their website the reality often aligns more with Delivered the Day After Tomorrow It s not an isolated incident but a trend I have observed over several purchases making it harder for me to believe it s simply an oversight It is quite disheartening to say the least to be subjected to these marketing techniques that do not deliver on their promises I find such false advertising not only misleading but also unprofessional I expect better from a brand operating in Switzerland a country known for its punctuality and integrity In conclusion while Galaxus Digitec might offer a vast range of products their delivery service needs serious improvements It s time for the brand to align their actions with their words to maintain trust and credibility amongst their customers Rating 2 5 Stars for their failure to honor delivery commitments

Unreliable delivery times

The delivery time is almost never correct What is indicated as delivery time is usually actually the day the products get dispatched from the Galaxus warehouses instead of the actual arrival of your product I ordered a washing machine and it took an additional 4-5 days for it to arrive versus the indicated date on Galaxus because they didn t take into account that the machine will be moved to a partner s warehouse and then to the logistics partner

I recently had a frustrating experience

I recently had a frustrating experience with Galaxus regarding my order delivery Despite updating my address on their platform and confirming the change via email my order was still shipped to my old address The package which was supposed to arrive yesterday was delayed and sent out today to the wrong location When I reached out to customer service for assistance I was disappointed to find they were unable to help me redirect the shipment to the correct address I still have access to my old address but the whole process has been very inconvenient and frustrating I expected better support and a more reliable system for managing address changes I hope Galaxus can improve its handling of such issues in the future to prevent this from happening to other customers

Disjointed slow and irresponsible customer care

At this point I am really struggling to keep telling myself to use this company This latest issue with a projector left me losing hours on messages phone calls and trips to the post to return an item that they didn t pack with any consideration and then kept sending replacements In fact the last replacements they sent was to a secondary address that was no longer valid so I had to call and force them to list it as missing since they made the mistake I have now the frustration for days of seeing a credit note for hundreds sitting on my account and there is no option to transfer to refund Called the agent she couldn t do it Said accounting is looking at it Looking at what The time I lost is worth hundreds more Update they will maybe argue that I got my money back but not after hours lost and you better believe it activated not after two phone calls but instead right after I left this review
