Credit score didn t budge for months then it dropped and upon investigating why it dropped it turns out my account was reported as closed despite every single payment made in full and on time When I enquired they just told me to contact equifax myself to have it resolved yeah because I m gunna pay for a service to then go and have my credit rating manually updated No thanks Save your money and pay off debt to increase your credit score organically These cheap hacks just line the company s pocket Edit to reply to bits app comment from 06 02 You haven t emailed me since i last emailed you back saying i don t want your free three months service and i don t want to have a phone call since i can t evidence the phone conversation to trustpilot since you ve already flagged my review as being not based on a genuine experience and i ve had to share all emails with the trustpilot integrity team to prove the shoddy service received My credit report still shows incorrect data based on your incorrect reporting to equifax and again based on being told to fix it myself i don t want anything for free from bits i don t want to talk to anyone over the phone and i don t want to continue my subscription You had a chance to correct the mistake and it took a negative review to get something out of you so based on that i m done with bits

More of a con than anything else pay for a subscription and then get items and pay monthly but it s not as good as it sounds 2 payments taken at 1 time wasn t what I agreed to Then even after the item is 100 paid back they still try to take payment I wouldn t even bother doing this if I was you And the customer service takes weeks to reply Edit- now it seems you post a negative review and they write lies about responding in 1 day Lol never heard such rubbish Even go on and say there is a error Whatever I m done with this company and I recommend you stay away

So Bits is a complete and utter rip off in my opinion In theory there product is a good one IE you pay to have a credit limit reported But for a half decent limit that will make any difference you re talking 60 a month plus RIP OFF for a virtual card you don t use This cost them peanuts to report and it doesn t matter if they say you have a 50 limit or a 50 000 limit Just be fair to you re customers Your basic plan for 50 limit does nothing for them I previously was an underwriter Sell more at a fair price and have more custom and more happy customers Fair would be 250 Limit - 6 per month 500 Limit - 12 per month 1 000 Limit - 20 per month 2 500 Limit - 40 per monthI personally now use another company that offer a booster credit card I m not allowed to say there name

Had some issues but the owner stepped in to help me and did everything he could to sort my issue Offered 2 free months to change my trustpilot review Accepted but Now again I ve had issues when using their bits credit Purchased some amazon gift cards which for some reason we re then refunded and now it is showing on my balance as if I owe money for them No reply to emails Called and was told that I may get charged but they wound refund which affects my credit score as it s marked as using credit when in fact I m not Gave them the benefit of the doubt but seems this is really not a well run business

Their credit building subscription is good but their physical credit card is useless They give you a limit but you re not actually allowed to spend up to the limit as I found out after putting fuel in my car and having no means of payment The card kept declining telling me I m spending too much I ll be the judge of that Don t tell people they have X amount of credit available on a credit card then decline transactions The credit limit is measly to begin with you re talking 50- 100 credit limit if that You put 30 of fuel in your car based on the app telling you you have an amount available to spend card declines and you get a notification to call customer service The utilisation lock was disabled meaning I should have been able to spend 100 of my credit limit yet the card wouldn t authorise It s unacceptable You then call customer service and nobody answers If you re thinking of taking out their physical credit card DONT If you already have one NEVER use this card for fuel meals out paying the brothers at the car wash etc basically anything where you receive the service before paying as you never know if you ll actually be able to pay using the card until you try The available amount in the app means nothing and it caused me mega hassle when I couldn t pay for my fuel Poor show Sort it out

I ve been a user of Bits for a couple of months Over the weekend I received a push notification from them saying that my account had been closed I had not requested this and did not receive any additional information about it I tried to login to the app and find out more and couldn t do it I emailed them to ask for an update and they ve responded but not provided any information I never received an email update or other information I genuinely do not know what is going on and I m feeling frustrated with their lack of communication Not sure what to do but not impressed

Couldn t use the credit line to buy gift cards due to a bug This bug was then fixed but it still didn t work and I was told to pay my balance down to be able to buy the gift cards A couple of months later I still can t buy them clearly illustrating that the fixed bug was never resolved Customer support are either very quick or extremely slow it s all a bit farcical there are better alternatives that don t require you throwing a fee away for half the promised service

Very poor customer service I ve been trying to cancel for 3 days and no one has returned my email They respond saying they aim to get back in 24 hours but I have had no response at all I ll just cancel my card so no payment can be taken Most apps these days have an easy cancellation in app - these are obviously just looking to ignore you until you give up or hope you just forget Not exactly trustworthy actions Zilch is way better

I was just about to sign up and THANKFULLY I did not I m so glad trustpilot exists looked at the bad reviews on here and alot of them are politicaly correct how the website is misleading You can only spend it on gift cards what a complete utter joke If this was only a credit card you could spend anywhere like all others I d 100 sign up Not this time I ll spend my money with other companies out there Thank you trustpilot12th December 2023 update Company replied BLA BLA BLA You gave me the same response as some others Get a grip and burn your business where it belongs in a pile of dust

Can t say this company is any help or use Signed up to use the credit card and selected my date as the 28th wake up on the 21st to find out they ve taken money out my bank before my payday leaving me very short Turns out without warning they ve changed their t c s from pay monthly to weekly then proceed to lie to be and say they ve sent emails of the change Last email dated from them was 1-11-2023 saying your credit card is ready to use STAY AWAY and find a better company for a credit card
