Worst financial company I have ever dealt with I was instructed not to make a final payment on my lease because the dealership would make that payment so I did as instructed GM Financial then reported a late payment to the credit bureau Even after I called them to get this corrected they refused

absolutely dreadful customer service
absolutely dreadful customer service every single time last time it sounded like there was a literal party going on in the background and this time the agent was coughing into the phone both were no help a multi billion dollar company cant hire at least one good agent ive been trying to get my title for months and nobody there is helpful i sent a document to the email PRINTED ON THE FORM over a month ago now and now they are telling me they dont take emails only fax i literally dont know anybody who gets fax service what year is it 1985 also it takes 8 weeks to get the title

HORRIBLE AND IMPROPER CHARGES
They billed us 200 00 for a key fob that was returned at the end of the lease I have emailed them with evidence of the return of both keys as has the lease end manager at my local chevy dealership Neither of us have received a reply or corrected invoice When I call the 800 customer service they say they have no record of either email and put me on hold for 45 minutes until I get so frustrated I hang up They never returned my calls BEYOND HORRIBLE CONSUMER PROTECTIONS THAT THEY HAVE NOT CORRECTED THEIR MISTAKE

Horrible Customer Service
This company doesn t try to work with you at all Got payment date revised twice to prevent late charges Both times it changed back after 2 months without them letting me know I ended up paying the vehicle two payments ahead to prevent issues and received a call saying I was behind when I was ahead I explained to the representative that was not the case her information was inaccurate and I would like to speak to her manager She never put a manager on the phone and the line disconnected I ended up paying the vehicle off 6 months early took forever to get the title I recently went to purchase a new vehicle and found they had fraudulently rated me badly on my credit report

Scamming extra payment
I paid off my car in full I had a perfect payment record This company billed an extra 339 65 after the car was paid off refused to repay the money They blamed the bank They are inaccessible with lengthy hold times to verbally resolve the problem hanging up on me several times Be careful this is a predatory company attempting to continue to bill your account after full payment has occurred

Wish I could give zero stars
Wish I could give zero stars I ve been trying for over a week to cancel gap insurance on a refinanced vehicle that wasn t originally bought with anything GM related-I keep getting told I need to talk to someone else- then call the someone else and never get anywhere and told the same thing TRASH service-

LAST GM VEHICLE and its not because of the truck
I just paid off a leased vehicle in order to sell it and to my great disappointment GM will not under any circumstance send the lien release any sooner than 17 business days after the date it is paid off They got my check in 2 days and paid it off the same day A simple contact with the state would do the trick but instead may blow up my deal because of their inability to do anything intelligent or be helpful in any type of way LAST GM VEHICLE EVER

I am only giving it 1 Star because that s the lowest they have Absolutely horrible service Their APP sucks and if you need to get ahold of customer support you ll be on hold for an hour Their website and APP both NEVER remembers my log in information I ve tried numerous times to set up autopay and my payment will ALWAYS show up late You would think being Americas largest automobile producer they would have their shot together Hyundai not a problem at all Smooth sailing The next GM I buy will be through a different loan company I don t get on and waste my time writing reviews for the hell of it I am a very busy man and don t have time for it unless I m completely an unsatisfied customer

Charged for excess ear and tear AFTER lease check in was completed Vehicle sat at dealership 45 days vehicle was pristine with 20k less miles than lease allowed Due to wording in lease agreement this company can legally charge consumers even though it is not he right thing to do Check in policy needs to change at dealerships to avoid these issues Shame on you GM Financial you refused to resolve this issue Bad Bad Bad business

Not at all impressed with this company In fact I find them to be lazy and inflexible They push you to download yet another app to do business with them require a canceled check to set up autopay in 2022 really and charge extra for any other form of payment you can imagine In fact they ve even outsourced their payment service to another company
