Deceitful -Modern Day Robbery

I am an big online shopper since I do not have time I was interested in eco friendly products I got excited by their deceitful practices of putting free samples and then ordering some not free products to meet the minimum The quality was meh Then I started getting emails about my next shipment that I never ordered It was hard to get into the account at first and then edit the items THEY put in my cart as a monthly subscription that I NEVER signed up for I removed those but lets see if they come up with some other sneaky stuff to rob us off Highly disappointed in their pushy stealthy practices Have never encountered any thing like this before- akin to modern day robbery I have no words for it

Do not sign up for this company Very misleading setup Terrible nonexistent customer service Live text promises never delivered Emails not responded to I am waiting They billed my credit card for shipment I did not order Still waiting for a refund And to even just cancel the account They have 100s of complaints with the Better Business Bureau Do not give them your credit care You will have to fight to get it back

Terrible customer service- charged multiple times

Site sometimes has the items I need most of the time they don t carry a variety or are out of stock which is why cancelled my VIP access It s 19 99 a year which is cheap for free shipping on orders up to a certain dollar amount Leaving this bad review for terrible customer service Charged multiple times for a service that was cancelled this happened in 2020 This year 2021 they charged me again even though I cancelled last year Initially I had to cancel multiple times over email because calling wasn t an option This year I sent the email chain with a representative stating my account was canceled Yet here I am again sending the same email about getting charged the damn 19 99 again WITH my account already canceled

Tricks customers in subscription

The way how Grove tricks customers in subscription speaks of unethical business practices When you create an account they mention that you will never run out of stuff with a subscription model You would assume that you can choose to subscribe or place a regular order But it s not the case once you place an order you have signed up for a subscription And it is never mentioned to you during the check out process This lack of transparency seems intentional I find it very unethical and I can t trust a company like that I think one day they will be sued for that Would be similar to a law suit against Audible

I will not place another order

I will not place another order I didn t receive one item and instead of refunding me or sending me a replacement they added a credit on my account for future Their minimum order is 29 so they placed a credit on my account for a future order so I could spend more money in order to get a replacement for an item I didn t receive It s pretty awful to be honest and yea I will never place an order here again Thank you for not refunding me or sending a replacement Yea let me order again and spend more money to see if I get another order with a missing item then another credit to spend more money on future orders Does that seem right to you

If I could give this company a double

If I could give this company a double zero review I would I initially received a gift card from Lands End for some free items from Grove Collaborative I had to give them my credit card for shipping those free items to me Consequently Grove Collaborative has taken my credit card and personal information and are now using it to automatically bill me for a membership I didn t sign up for and to sign me up for auto ship of their crap They promote themselves as a company that cares about the planet The truth is they only care about the bottom line of profits for themselves by extorting money from innocent people If you dare to buy anything from this company they will bill you for stuff you didn t ask for and you can t remove your information from their website It s a scam Beware
