Hello I ve had a Arma 2 Dayz server with GTX Gaming for just under a year But no more and never ever again Get a server with them and memorize the sentence Hello Sir Please reinstall your server via action tab That seems to be a autoreply from them and if you contest that reply you get pushed around by the same person just with a new signature I have seem more names and managertitles than the company would seem to occupy Popular add ons like P4L Plotmanagement and Groupmanagement are impossible to install and they offer NO support on add ons Their one click system is LONG abandoned There have been so many issues with server and support from the beginning GTX Gaming is a true case of you get what you pay for But what finally drove me to abandon them was an incident over this weekend Last week i was notified that they needed to move my server to another machine due to critital hardware failure one should think my server would suffer but was running just fine This move would be done with no loss of data to me The move took place and guess what Nor me or players could connect to the server I promptly opened a support ticket took them a few hours to respond and reply was that server was running just fine No i told them and then discovered that server had gotten a new ip adress Somewhat annoyed that they didnt inform me of that but hey now we re rolling again Guess what no we werent upon connecting via new ip i learned that server couldnt read database New support ticket was sent and 4 hours later i was informed that they had moved me to a server with no game files Displeased and annoyed though i was i politely told them to please get that fixed While this took place i discovered that my server had been moved from London to a Paris center having purchased a London server thats what i want So asked support why my server was moved to Paris without them notifying me Replay was that London was out of stock London was NOT out of stock and it then took some hours debating them moving me back which finally happened A few hours later i was told server was up and running again on yet another ip When server finally showed up in DayzLauncher i discovered that it was a totally fresh reinstall all player data and bases were gone I then had to submit another ticket reminding them that they had stated no loss of data So they had to dig up the newest backup they had and install that When done they again informed me that server was running and attached a screenshot from ingame Okay i thought 2 days and finally its working I then went to bed and looked forward to joining server when returning from work the next day While at work i logged into their tcadmin control panel and saw to my suprise that no add ons were installed only thing running was infistar I then looked at files on server and noticed that my custom folder where i kept all things added by me was missing both in missionfolder and in serverfiles Besides that my database was missing key tables like player banking and such So no loss of data really didnt apply after all I submitted a final ticket listing that despite their claim to have restored my server no such thing had been done as i was missing both files database tables and no add ons was installed Support then again claimed server being restored to state prior to first move mind you this is 4 servers later support claimed that there were no indications of my server being reinstalled and persisted in claiming that it had been restored I then cancelled my subscription instantly since they showed no interest in investigating or fixing the issue They even implied that i myself might have reinstalled it remember they just claimed server showed no sign of reinstall Their support is usually quick but it leaves the impression of them not really reading tickets and they tend to push you around to diffent people and very often if you stand your ground try to pull a i ll call a manager trick on you General impression is a company which cares more about your money than you as a customer
