Booked a non-refundable flight to Italy in January Connecting flight was cancelled London to Milan by airline due to COVID-19 Tried to get refund via Gurufare but was told it would be 125 pp charge Also told that if we got a voucher it would be for each airline British Air and Fin Air not for American Airlines even tho it was booked under American and would have to fly by 12 2020 After all that I was told I could not get refund because airline didn t cancel flight Decided to speak directly to American Airlines and they resolved quickly UPDATED-THEY DID NOT RESOLVE although the customer service rep said they would Also I was told by AA any travel voucher would be with AA and we have until 12 31 2021 to use Shame on you Guru I understand these are not normal times but have to wonder where you re getting your info and how the 125 pp charge came about I highly recommend people call their airlines first and verify fees and if vouchers can be issues especially if the airline is canceling your flight 2 stars is because we did get a great deal on the flight with Gurufare however after this experience will probably spend the extra and book directly with the airlines UPDATE My credit card company reversed the charges no fees Took a bit of time but was finally resolved

I booked a roundtrip flight from SFO-Japan from Gurufare It took a while maybe 30 mins for the tickets to be issued and after that they kept reaching out via email SMS phone to select seats That s fine but their website announces a policy for GuruFare to call the airline to negotiate a free upgrade for your flight This is clearly just a marketing promise with no basis in reality because the seats available were the worst seats in the house on a flight that s 6 months away The biggest concern is that GuruFare replaced the return flight from HND- SFO to a 20 hour layover from HND- SFO- LAX They called it a bonus flight but they offered no return from LAX- SFO or housing in SFO for the overnight layover They also told me that the price would be higher if I decided to change the booking back to what I actually reserved GuruFare is literally telling me to skiplag with an imposed hidden city by dropping this on my reservation This can cause all kinds of problems fines bans luggage fiasco getting stuck in LA if rerouted etc all so Gurufare can save with forcing me to violate the airline rules I ve spent hours trying to get their agents to fix this but I keep getting responses about the concerned team is working on it I m six months away from my vacation and it s already stressing me out

My flight was cancelled by the airline and I am still going back and forth between Gurufare and emirates to get the refund for airlines cancelled ticket It has been more than 7 months I won t recommend neither gurufare nor emirates As requested had sent email to gurufare separately with the details

It was not so bad but not good I booked the initial one which I was totally fine but called me at 11 pm and said we have a better deal The operator said it is totally same flight but cheaper so I said yes Next day I realized airline is totally different So they canceled and refund and I can get another flight The operation guy was finally very helpful but took me 2 -3 additional hours

Vish was helpful but he didn t find me the cheapest fare - I had already found it He offered me some more expensive flights which wasn t what I wanted He did offer me a 20 discount though on my flight which was nice

Initial sale was inaccurate was told there would be checked bags included and there was not but after some shuffling around ended up with great customer service from Raavi one of the representatives Always double check your stuff but ask for Raavi if you have problems she s the best guru fare should probably give her a raise

When we made our initial booking the date options for birthdate did not function correctly and we also had a typo in the email we left but the customer service representative Greyson was very helpful in cancelling that booking and creating a new one

I strongly advise everyone to use Gurufare

I recommend gurufure all the time because they always treat me very well
