Horrible water made sweet

We have terrible water coming from our faucet We live in post industrial -along the Monogahela-western Pa which has some outstanding mine dranage and old industrial contamination We have been using your distiller for several years and it has been wonderful Some time ago we ran out of the charcoal filters as well as the cleaner The vessel was coated with scale The water became undrinkable tasted horrible As we then had no water to drink at all and I was too impatient to get the distiller s filter and cleaner I went out and got a filter pitcher Big mistake If I ran the water through it twice the water was drinkable However I noticed that simple drinks like tea left a sludge like ring in the cup What is in the water that the filter did not take out In horror I ordered the distiller cleaner and charcoal filters They came quickly and Like a miracle we were back in business The water is sweet and delicious I now know that a little machine matinence is the way to go Thanks for your great product No kidding

I bought some replacement filter cartridges for my distiller unit I use the distiller several times a week and I am very happy with it They are expensive but necessary You gotta have em

I received my MKII water distiller quickly and in perfect condition MKII is a well designed and manufactured still They really thought it through for the user Now I drink more water than ever

So Far So Good

So far so good The Waterlovers MKII has worked great right out of the box I like the self contained easy to use no plastic except the filter pod slide one touch design I had it up and running in under 10 minutes It is not a quiet unit though this is not an issue for us The sound is about the same as our dishwasher The fill rate is decent I had my first pitcher-full of water in just under 3 hrs The unit comes with a nice sized canister of cleaning crystals and a six month supply of activated charcoal filter pods Hopefully H2OLabs will start carrying them so I won t have to order them from Australia This unit will be running around the clock until we have a good stash of water for our distilled storage containers we use distilled for a lot of things especially my nebulizers humidifiers plant sprays inhalant treatment for asthma COPD steam appliances as well as beverage applications Note regarding distilled water as a drink it is an empty molecule As such it can be great for pulling toxins from the body but it can also pull minerals we need Consider adding elements to the water we add lemon juice and a pinch of Himalayan pink salt for example when drinking straight It s so good to drink clean chlorine free water again
