Delivered 5 days after date on order

Delivered 5 days after date on order said it would be there I sent a message on the day it was supposed to be delivered no reply recieved So my wife rang and the following Friday was agreed a week late It did turn up

Incredibly poor customer service

The price was comparably good The service was terrible No confirmation of delivery date Called certas - who this really is - as they don t have phone numbers on the website couldn t confirm any delivery dates Then emailed a week later they didn t even bother to reply So still no understanding for delivery dates Then just delivered without knowledge A big player in an unregulated industry with incredibly poor service The only thing positive was the relatively good price but even that is more than it should be

Where is my oil

Ordered and payment taken on 11th Jan Delivery was due by Thursday 23 Jan but no delivery and no contact I emailed on 22 Jan asking when the delivery would be but I haven t heard anything back today is the 25 Jan

AVOID AVOID AVOID Do NOT use

Do NOT use this company Ordered using 10 working day delivery No sign of oil after 13 working days Ran out of oil in middle of winter Chased them by phone 0345 604 7465 and they still could not even guarantee a delivery date It should be there in a couple of days Had to cancel the order and order from a local company instead who could guarantee a next day delivery but obviously had to pay more My family is now cold and out of pocket because of this sham of a company Not a single apology from anyone Do NOT be tempted to use this company pay more for a better service elsewhere

Never again Second time I ve used this company The first time it took ages and they charged me twice This time they claimed the lorry broke down and again took ages Very unreliable Confusion between whether you re dealing with heating oil com or Certas

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service No communication regarding delivery and when I phoned I was told the delivery would be that day and a morning delivery By 3pm they hadn t turned up I phoned again to be told they had changed the delivery due to our location I had already stated at the point of order that the lane was wide enough for a tanker If I hadn t phoned I would never have known this and would still be waiting I explained the delivery was urgent and that there were vulnerable people in the house They said they would pass this on and I would receive a phone call they chickened out and sent an email instead saying it would be another 3 days before delivery This is during freezing weather and a storm I sent another email complaining and have as yet not received an answer Very angry and disappointed

2 weeks on and still not received my

UPDATE - Despite their reply below it is now 20 days since ordering my oil and it has still not been received and they are not replying to my emails 2 weeks on and still not received my heating oil Emailed to find out when it was coming to get a reply just saying there are severe delays in my area Still not received despite them replying below saying it has been delivered - driver said can not access address which is total nonsense I was in all day 2 cars on the drive I saw the driver get out of his cab look at the gate and then drive off

Delivery window changed repeatedly Promised for the 15th - didn t arrive Promised for the 20th - didnt arrive They said the road was blocked - there were traffic lights No apologies from staff on the phones No concern for effects of having no heating on house residents

Avoid this company like the plague

Placed an order on 9 January for a delivery on or before 17 January No delivery on the 17 but told it would be delivered on the 23 January No delivery materialized on the 23 January but an email arrived to say it would now be delivered on the 24 January WHAT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS My advice do not use this company Google their reviews at Certas Energy

An unacceptably long wait

I was promised a definite date the oil would be delivered by It wasn t After making phone calls I was told there was a delay at the depot and I had to wait a further 6 days with the temperature in the house down to 13 degrees Using expensive electric heaters which were ineffectual I am elderly and it was very unsatisfactory
