Basic SM management tool with hiccups
I bought Heropost because of the lifetime deal for just under 170 I was looking for an inexpensive social media management platform to manage my own profiles as well as customer profiles The competition is just absurdly expensive for small businesses like me and the lifetime deal was extremely attractive to me I have been using Heropost for about 2-3 months now Heropost is rather rudimentary and I have the feeling that it still has a lot of hiccups and hang-ups Basically most things work quite well Posts on Facebook Twitter Instagram Google My Business Pinterest etc can be scheduled easily and are posted reliably But only as long as only to basic stuff You can t pair a business profile on Pinterest I mean Of course I want to pair a business profile Sucks On Instagram I can t create portrait carousel posts On LinkedIn I can t post a PDF Error messages e g because the character limit was exceeded are displayed in cryptic messages where you first have to search where the problem is Support responds quickly provided they are around Good luck on the weekend or when everyone is still asleep due to the time delay Hashtags cannot be looked up by language region which makes it difficult to find what you are looking for Moreover the platform espexcially the integrated analytics is horribly slow loading times of 5-20 seconds and more or you just get an error message because something went wrong With Pinterest somehow only individual boards are tracked but not the entire profile All in all pretty pointless for my needs There is no way to add more users and give them access only to certain profiles It goes on Again it s a rip-off you get a basic SM management solution But as I said it s basic If you have professional needs and SM is an income source for you I d suggest you have a look at some of the more established solutions out there I have to say I am positively surprised by Biolinks This was also included free of charge and works great All in all an OK SM management tool and considering the price tag of 170 I d probably buy it again because it does help me save time and in the long run it s pretty cheap It is much cheaper than the competition and you pay only once but you get only a half-finished product of which I have not noticed any improvements updates since the purchase Hopefully the further development will continue and the current status quo will not be stuck forever In no case would I advise anyone to pay the regular price of currently 500 and 1000 for 6 months and 12 months respectively Maybe Heropost develops further and finally becomes a real rival but right now it s not
