Mess up bill payments continually

Homebox is a really bad service continually messing up our payments and we have to cover these costs ourselves which they cannot guarantee they refund The worst middle man provider I have ever had Called them up multiple times and could not get the issue fixed They refused to commit to a solution or even offer a reimbursement Do yourself a favour and avoid this service

Awful experience

Awful experience Spoke to two ladies one of them is Sophie they were speaking over me and were not giving me a chance to explain but rather very dismissive and in a rush to want to claim exorbitant money for services that haven t even been provided for They are dodgy and customer service is very poor hardly take time to explain their service structure and hardly ever assisted me with my query making it very frustrating to even consider them to help with billing setup deal with companies direct rather than home box Awful experience

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service Was promised a rebate for my energy bills 4 months ago which never came I have called them up multiple times since where I get the same answers from them that their supply chain haven t finalised the readings Literal robbery - a company trying to get me to forget that they owe me money Strongly strongly recommend anyone in the future avoids

I have been waiting for three months

I have been waiting for three months and still have not received the final bill or the 50 refund I am not sure what issues they are having with their management It has been a month without any response to my requests Without the final bill I cannot get my rental deposit back If there is a higher authority I can file a complaint to I would like to escalate the matter

Fraudulent company

I wrote a bad review some days ago about how your company keep taking money from my account but never pay the service provider and you claimed here on Trust pilot that you have resolved the issue you are LIARS I still received a letter from the electricity company showing an outstanding bill of 1 253 91 How am I even sure that you have even handled the Council tax issue I regret ever dealing with your company

Avoid at all costs I am going through lot of pain because of these guys They mismanage the account for sure and let you deal with all the mess

THEY HAVE NOT PAID MY WATER BILL PLEASE AVOID

They haven t paid my water bill back from December despite me putting over the money over to do so back in December we are now in January and they still haven t paid it with Thames water threatening to cut off my water supply I asked for my 35 back to pay Thames water myself as Homebox are incapable of doing so and they still haven t even attempted to give it back to me despite emails and phone calls back n fourth to Tom Yem and Ryan over the last week and half absolutely shameless companyPLEASE AVOID

Worst Company Ever Seen

Hi I had issues with this company both while using their services and during the account closure process Problems I experienced while using their services They failed to pay a provider for an extended period which impacted my credit score I m still trying to fix my credit rating They are never transparent I cannot view my account balance in real-time I will report this situation to the FCA as soon as possible As a company holding balances they are obligated to show us our balance in real-time They blatantly violated GDPR rules Sensitive data like passwords were shared in email threads that included third parties They failed to pay another provider again and as a result we were constantly harassed They apply a hidden fee albeit small 3 P M You can t see this fee anywhere but they charge it secretly every month There is no mention of such a fee in the contract At the end of my tenancy they still haven t refunded my money even after two months I strongly urge you to avoid this company They will never make your life easier and will cause you constant stress

They didn t pay our council tax bill

They didn t pay our council tax bill and we were sent a letter being taken to court by the council in Dec 2024 Reached out to the council and found that they had never sent my money across Have reached out to them for a refund they are ignoring my messages but have temporarily suspended our account they haven t taken bills for this month Now I am worried they aren t paying our bills for us Every time I try to call them they end the phone call Do not recommend

AVOID THEM COMPLETELY

Just about the most useless company ever they don t get your readings sent out on time and they don t make payments in time They also fabricate numbers in your billings and make them out to be a lot more than they should be I would advise getting in contact directly with the billing provider if you have any suspicions of foul play in your bills Before I unknowingly signed up to the fraud of a company there were no communications given to me prior that a fee will be taken out of my account that goes to their pockets which is 15 pounds per month and I wouldn t have known if I didn t calculate the amount myself and put 2 and 2 together only to realize that there s an extra 15 pounds I wasn t sure exactly what was for as it wasn t mentioned to me by the agent that shoved their pathetic service down my throat when I signed my lease with my building and they didn t even send me a renewal of my contract and still carried on without notifying me I am currently in communication with them to get me the hell out of whatever imaginary contract it is with them as I have grown tired of their scammy and dodgy behavior and will get a lawyer involved if I honestly have to Can t even discuss payments with my electric provider like as if that makes any sense when i m the one paying the money I would give zero stars if I could you re better of managing your bills on your own Edit They replied to my message saying an agent of theirs mentioned the 15 fee on our initial call but this is a LIE nothing was mentioned and I had to realize this myself after calculating everything to see that it didn t add up And I was in contact with the energy provider MYSELF and they told me they had no idea where they were generating these numbers from and they rely completely on my meter readings and not on auto generated readings like they have claimed below Avoid this company totally please it s clear they do not know what they are doing
