I am so dissatisfied with this stove hard to start the burners and the oven really is terrible it a huge disappointment although it looks great

Thank you for your response-would really like the opportunity to discuss this in full and I still have all correspondence and one in particular where an engineer reported the issue with this customer is overuse It is still baffelling how it was possible for me to have managed to corode hospital grade stainless steel within a sealed unit I was informed by the Ilve accredited repair agent MRCR that I was responsible for corroding a stainless steel impeller - housed deep within the oven mechanics Apparently by using a cleaning agent This was a complete untruth levied by MRCR More a fabrication to overcome the disatisfaction by the operative towards me Highly unproffesional After numerous communications and utter frustration at such ludicrous accusations and allegations I vowed never to purchase another ilve product again The oven purchased was there newest Ultra combi 3500 price tag Purchased through JL and Kitchenex there was little or no customer support and the techincal advisor was lacking the very basic technical knowledge of the product The oven was returned after less than one years use There was catorgorically no spray cleaner used much less any cleaner that could possibly have reach and corroded a stainless steel impeller located within the deep area of the mechanics of the oven and it s housing

I ve owned my ILVE cooker for a few years now and unfortunately my experience has been far from what I expected given the premium price tag The first breakdown happened just a few months outside the warranty period ILVE refused to assist and simply directed me to their recommended repair company The engineer found that a fuse had failed apparently a known fault ILVE had even changed fuse manufacturers yet ILVE still wouldn t cover the cost Not long after one of the oven trays warped badly ILVE eventually agreed to replace it but it took several phone calls before they took action About 18 months ago I had to replace the heating element in the side oven after it stopped working Now after only limited use the engineer has told me the replacement element is already in poor condition and needs replacing again I was told that elements need to be used regularly or they deteriorate but not too much or they ll wear out That kind of logic doesn t inspire confidence Overall I feel ILVE ovens are overpriced the oven was sold to me as commercial grade which in my experience is laughable My advice look elsewhere before buying an ILVE oven or like me may regret my purchase and feel very disappointed UPDATE The warranty was out by a matter of months yet you refused to rectify a know issue with the fuses which is very poor customer service considering how much the ovens cost Heating element lasting 18 months is poor quality components I will continue to use the service company but I stand by what I said in my experience ilve cookers are over priced for what they are and would not recommend or purchase again
