Avoid this company at all cost I have tried three different units One failed to power on straight out the box Immersun sent a replacement within a week to be fair Unfortunately within a couple of months this unit burnt out The replacement has again caught fire this morning Three units within a year the original cost 500 Avoid

I believe this product is useless it is difficult to install the support is lacking it is impossible to discover the savings made if any the cost of the unit will never be recovered We have had it uninstalled as there is more benefit from FIT payment than Immersun

Worked great for a few years then blew Burnt out a part and blew the fuse What I spent on the unit I ve about broke even on free hot water

Our first Immersun blew after about 3 years which we bought with the solar panels I enquired about repairing it but was talked into the improved version from Immersun direct from the manufacturer This one has lasted just over 3 years and has blown up Immersun offered yet another improved unit for 450 or a repair for approx 200 I am trying to repair it myself being an electronics engineer but the SMD s are tricky to work on I will not buy another one of these ever again There are far cheaper devices on the market some with a 10 year warranty which I will buy should my repair fail My advice is shop around for a cheaper device with a longer warranty

Like many recent reviews I had an old version of the diverter which lost it s display and was talked into buying the latest improved unit On arrival this would not install with an error saying could not find the immersion heaters The old unit which had been fixed was replaced and worked perfectly I returned the new version to Immersun which was tested and returned to me having no fault It was fitted again with exactly the same result The old unit was refitted and worked perfectly Immersun would not accept responsibility saying the fault lay in the system outside the unit Despite being asked numerous times how the old unit could work and the new one didn t they chose not to answer After 4 attempts installing the new unit by 4 different electricians and having the immersion heaters circuits tested as OK I returned the unit for a refund It was sent back to me with a message saying that as I had had it for nearly a year no refund was available and discussion was closed I took the matter to the Small Claims court and my money was refunded by immersun at the abitration process Form your own opinion about their products and customer service but last time I checked reviews 12 were 1 star with scathing comments about product and service PS the old unit is still working I have hard wired it to the remote sensor in the garage removing the wifi bridge

Not delivered by DPD but the courier stated that I would not take the delivery problem is they never tried to deliver I never had the choice to except or decline the delivery and Immersun when I informed them stated that it was for me to sort out I emailed DPD and no surprise I still have had no response Had an electrician had ready to fit the unit and now still trying to get it fitted Legislation as I have had it explained to me is contact Immersun I m buying from them not chasing DPD error

Very disappointed with the response from Immersun I had my first unit for approx 7 years September 22 it failed and after contacting Immersun they said that they had a new version and that it was significantly better so I purchased it for 500 It worked well until 2 weeks ago when it failed - just 20 months old Immersun said I could return it for 180 but could not guarantee that it would be fixed They said the alternative was to buy a new one as they had a new version out which again was even better I queried the warranty and was told that it had expired by 8 months - so just a year warranty Checking the warranty of the iBoost is 2 years and cheaper and the Solic British made has a 10 year warranty and is half the price of the Immersun

Very disappointed with Immersun after sales support I bought my first Immersun unit when I installed the solar panels in 2013 The unit failed in August 2022 I was offered the option to return for repair but considering the age 9 yrs I decided to purchase a new unit instead 499 This unit failed in April 2024 after only 20mths An automated reply from support advised me to run a reset process on the device and have the heater tested The reset procedure made no difference and the heater tested Ok I advised support but got no reply Be warned this product only comes with a 1 year warranty

Buyer Beware this company sells substandard products at a premium price I bought an Immersun power diverter in October 2022 it stopped working 18 months later immersun quoted the 12 month warranty to me this company is advertising this product as built to last what a joke the price I paid for this piece of crap was several hundred pounds please don t waste your money on any of their products as they are clearly not fit for purpose buy an Iboost instead at least they have a 2 year warranty immersun obviously only give a 12 month warranty as they don t expect their products to last much longer in their information page they even have a cheek to run down Chinese products the 1 star review was only given as a minus 5 star review isn t possible Please Don t Waste your money on anything this company is peddling their headline should be Here to rip you off

IMMERSUN I received your reply to my review dated 22 July 2024 First of all you go off in a rant about how your products come with a 12 month warranty and this is clearly stated At no time did I state the product had a longer warranty The point is it is expected to far out last the 12 month warranty You say you are proud of the quality and durability of your power inverters and built to last You should try a career change to comedy I am in possession of 1 of your power inverters that completely rubbises your claim in fact the company who supplied my solar system has informed me they no longer supply any of your products because of these issues If you are so proud of your products you should have offered a good will replacement however it s all about the money isn t it Immersun Under UK statutory rights CRA 2015 I am protected as a consumer I have 6years to take you to the small claims court and reclaim the cost of the repair I am a long standing member of Which consumer champion they are steering me in the right direction I stand over every thing I stated in my first review my advice to potential customers is do not buy from Immersun
