Got a response half the time I emailed and the cost is pretty high for new teachers

I believe that some of the projects are little repetitive

The program itself sets one up for success yet there is very little communication from iTeach to customers

Great content just needs more simplifying in terms of next steps in process Clarification on testing for content and PPR

My experience was just a huge lack of communication and direction It was very difficult to figure out what needed to be done first and how to go through the program and the tests certifications

My experience was good overall but they have been slow about a few things Also iteach mentor has missed an appointment my first one with them

The program itself was great I thought the information I learned was relevant My field experience was wonderful and I got great feedback and constructive criticism The problem I had was when they went to send off my information for certification At some point iTeach was not able to obtain my PL2 licensing They sent my paperwork to be signed but never informed me that all parties did not sign and it was not submitted We did not catch this until I was applying for my Level 1 certification At this point we realized that I needed that PL2 only after months waiting for the state to process my Level 1 Then we had to reapply for the PL2 so we can apply for the Level 1 There was no communication or checking on the process unless I checked in which was all met with we don t know we don t have an update It took 6 months to finally get my certification I contacted iteach on 2 2 23 to see the status They told me on 2 3 23 they had no status update and would reach out as soon as it came in I contacted the state 2 3 23 and they immediately emailed back with my certification I am just glad it s finally over I have been waiting on this paperwork so I could get a specific job

I am rating iteach 3 stars because I started iteach during Covid-19 The upper administration were a hassle to deal with Meaning they didn t want to hear you out or help you out in anyway that would inconvenience them Go figure right Seems to be a money grab at every chance they get Not very encouraging when it comes time to take your certification exams and it almost seemed like they didn t want you to do well so that you had to extend your program and pay an additional 500 each time I understand you have to have rules and consequences but teachers don t make hardly anything Where do you expect us to get all this money from I think your fees need to be more reasonable and offer payment plans for the extra fees On the other hand some of the professors were great and really gave good feed back on my assignments but then you could tell the ones that were truly there for just the paycheck My supervisor Judy was great very sweet lady She truly gave constructive feedback from my observations and would pick up the phone in a heartbeat if I had any questions Loved working with her

Process is longer than expected and not a lot of guidance I have enjoyed it but feel it could improve by having more contact with instructors

The content in the modules were beneficial However my one complaint is that communication with I Teach it s not very good I work as a school teacher and it s very hard to catch you guys because of your hours Sometimes I don t get a email response till two or three days after Also even though I took the 5000 course they were still ambiguity and misunderstanding on my part I still don t know why I have to take a second test after taking the Contant test I have to take the PPR and I ve asked and emailed your staff what do I need to study for Is there a study guide I don t want to waste all my money by not passing the PPR test
