Don t waste your time with well known sofa companies

We had countless visits to well known sofa stores and just couldn t find exactly what we were looking for or the quality of sofa we required we stumbled across james and rose and just knew we were getting our sofa from them they have made every step of getting a bespoke sofa the easiest I think it could be from us going to the showroom deciding on the material size back and forward emails the excellent customer care and the delivery it was all exceptional the pictures do not do their sofas the justice they deserve hands down the best craftsmanship we have seen We are currently looking at another from this company we will 100 give them the recommendation they deserve

I m so happy with my new purchase of two beautiful sofas from James and Rose The service from them was fault- less from choosing fabrics and design of sofa to regular updates on expected delivery The two men who came removed my old sofas and took good care in installing the new ones A first class service and top quality sofas and great that they are made locally and supporting the local economy

Superb re-upholstery of an antique Chaise Longue

We requested that our antique Chaise Longue be brought up to date in patchwork leather to fit in with the previous pieces bought from James and Rose some 8 years ago This was not work they normally take on but as we were previous customers they agreed to do it They used a variety of toning leathers also adding a matching bolster and we a very pleased with the result They also arranged pick up and delivery Yet another very satisfied customer for this local firm Thank you very much James and Rose

Impeccable service and amazing sofa

I purchased a sofa from James and Rose exactly two years ago It is still beautiful I decided to buy another one and the same design and subtly different fabric After two deliveries of swatches I found the perfect one and ordered the sofa in the January sale at the exact same price as two years ago Within a few weeks it was ready to be delivered The service I received has been outstanding from start to finish The staff are cheerful knowledgeable and so helpful and the delivery team arrived promptly and were courteous and professional I adore the new sofa and am saving up to buy an ottoman to match

Great service

I d spent two years looking for the perfect sofas Looked at loads but always face with the same response if I wanted the seats deep or the back higher Sorry no can t do that James and Rose are the exact opposite I could have my seats deeper the back taller and had the choice of hundreds of fabrics and leathers Not to mention the excellent value at about 50 cheaper than others I d looked at I m absolutely delighted and wouldn t hesitate recommend them I bought the Winchester in a soft tan leather

I m writing this review 14 months after our bespoke Harrison Sofa in Lovely Jade Velvet and Harrison leather armchair was delivered to Scotland by the James Rose team who constructed our furniture After discussion with James we chose the firm seat cushions and had the furniture made to our specific seat height and depth measurements A small glitch with final measurement was rectified immediately with alternative sofa feet Communication throughout the process was excellent This company care about their customers The furniture is in daily use is extremely comfortable is much admired and looks as good as when we bought it last year The cushions need no plumping or maintenance I would rate James and Rose as Gold Standard manufacturers of quality furniture whose price point is very reasonable There is an astonishing range of fabrics available to choose from

Excellent Company

Over a few years this will have been a 5th time purchase of sofas foot stools dining chairs bar stools from James and Rose each order being bespoke They will send an endless choice of fabrics for you to choose from or will make the furniture from a fabric that you have already chosen or seen yourself The quick turnaround of making delivering is fantastic Customer Service with this company is excellent my opinion no point in looking elsewhere

Absolutely fantastic service from picking our sofas to the delivery Communication was spot on throughout The sofas themselves are beautifully made we wanted slightly higher backs on the sofas which wasn t a problem 10 10 company Will definitely be coming back when we need a settees for our kitchen Thankyou so much
