Poor communication and taking an age Mine is a purchase with no chain- both I and the seller extremely keen to get this done as fast as possible They put an initial completion estimate of 11 July latest At time of writing 22nd August this is still ongoing They don t respond to emails and refuse to give a new completion date estimate when telephoned Edit The fact that this company has replied so promptly on this public forum but made no contact with me regarding my case in the two weeks since speaks volumes

We are doing this house sale at a distance and were recommended JS-Law We are at about 6 weeks now and their prove who you are process is costing a lot of time approx 1 day each for myself and my brother I have been informed by a local solicitor that all this is not needed and shows the lack of thought that has gone into the process Please please please do not use this company for distance work it will cost you time and anger management training

The moment we chose to use them for the sale of our home and the new purchase of another home email after email after email X5 in total and x2 letters to read their Starter Pack sign and return and we didn t even have a buyer for our house We had only been on the market about 2wks It felt like they just wanted to secure our business I felt harassed and logged a complaint No reply to the complaint instead i received another email requesting for me to read the Starter Pack sign and return in the end I contacted the estate agent who had recommended them and we were advised to ignore the emails because why are they contacting you and you haven t sold your property yet

Absolutely useless can t even connect you from switchboard to extension House sale simple no chain yet I ve paid council tax and mortgage for 4 months at 850pm avoid at all costs they have no idea what there doing kept sending update requests yet when you call them and eventually get through it s all ongoing and all info received but yet still automated messages at 5am on a Sunday morning not yet completed so I m assuming Santa will arrive before the buyer DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE no matter what your estate agent advises

Avoid this company at all costs It was the most stressful and miserable experience of my life The communication was terrible it s impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone and takes 5 to 7 working days to get a reply to an email and when they do eventually reply the response is brief and not always informative Documents were often lost and had to be repeatedly sent Documents unrelated to our property uploaded to their eWay online system which is only as helpful as the person who updates this and again not informative as it will say email sent or received but contain no details Due to their incompetence It took 7 months to complete and we were not even in a chain They act like they are doing you a favour rather than proving you a service you are paying for

Absolutely aweful I dealt with them for conveyancing had to chase up numerous times Didn t have the same conveyancer - kept changing had trainee at one point They even got my plot number wrong not just once but twice Don t answer the phone or emails - just shocking AVOID - AVOID - AVOID

DO NOT USE It has been ten months since I hired JS Law as my solicitor and I don t have a single positive or neutral comment about them Despite two formal complaints to the Complaints Department and to Team Leader Neil Lawrence all issues remain unresolved Also JS Law is not following its own complaints policy After submitting my first complaint several months ago I have yet to receive a formal response My first solicitor was extremely uncommunicative and unresponsive It was four months before she answered the phone to me As a result of restructuring my case was transferred to another solicitor Sadly I didn t receive any communication from them until two months who have now transferred the case to another solicitor I haven t yet found out who it is due to illness JS Law is unresponsive does not respond to complaints and does not provide the services they are supposed to There has been a tremendous amount of undue stress caused by this and I would not recommend them to anyone I will now report this to the legal ombudsman

I am utterly disgusted with the total lack of service provided by JS Law It s a total joke As a first-time buyer I expected the process to be challenging but the lack of communication and support from JS Law has made it extremely stressful Eight months into my flat purchase and I am still waiting for completion The lack of communication has been appalling I am constantly having to chase for updates No one ever calls me to explain anything documents are just uploaded to the Eway portal I have tried calling five times since yesterday left a message and still no response This level of service is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable I would not recommend JS Law to anyone looking for a smooth and supportive home-buying experience

Subpar service Unmanned phones and complete inability to pick up the phone to resolve queries or chase things I ve given this place the best chance I can but they only ever seem engaged when they can expunge more money from me Avoid

Simply SHOCKING I d say from start to finish but 8 months on I ve absolutely no idea if we re even close to being finished Zero communication no accountability taken no answers on phone or call backs email communication is none existent and no been passed to the 4th conveyancer in 4 months Avoid at all costs or ask a toddler to do your conveyancing for you they d do a better and faster job
