BE WARNED

Yi ot cameras are NOT good value

Yi ot cameras are good value - but totally ruined by the app Governed by greed to sell cloud services there are constant adverts and screen diversions Replaying alerts from the SD card no longer works If a complaint is made the response is an insulting offer a reduced rate for cloud facilities There are equal value alternatives without the greedy Kami culture

Yi ot cameras are good value - but totally ruined by the app Governed by greed to sell cloud services which that if you unfortunatelyuse it it keeps autorenew and charging you even when you cancelyour plan the company gives very specific instructions to cancel your subscription you follow it and you will still get charged the next month because they send you an email full of bla bla bla and if you do not reply they charge you saying we had no response from you How is that and I had to follow a long instructions to cancel yet you pushing me to send a reply saying yes I still need to cancel For the app there are constant adverts and screen diversions Very very very bad experience

Avoid this company and its products

The cameras stopped working for several months This issue appears to be resolved but now the app sends adverts as iPhone notifications which can t be switched off If you contact support they respond saying you ve got to subscribe to the service the notification is advertising to stop the adverts I d be surprised if forcing people to pay to stop marketing material is allowed under GDPR or The Data Protection Act Their support include the advert you re asking them to stop sending notifications about as their response It s like they re just trolling you instead of providing support I think this shows the contempt Kamivision hold for their customers Avoid this company and its products

Yellow cloud banners

Since a while they are using adds and banners to lure you into their cloud service We don t need cloud for we have our own storage to put the videos in and second they are expensive with their cloud service On top of that they show a yellow banner on your app

Terrible terrible customer service

Terrible terrible customer service The worst I ve ever experienced Since May I have been contacting them about their faulty camera They are still charging me i must add And yet their camera is not doing what it should be After extensive testing from them that took many weeks of them having access to my cameras suspicous They determined that the camera was in fact faulty They then told me they would post a new one to me I provided my address and heard nothing more I waited a couple of weeks and nothing arrived I then get in touch and am told that I will need to purchase the exact same camera from their amazon store and they would immediately refund me I go to their store and they don t sell the same camera They know full well they don t so why they suggested this I ll never know Now we are in JULY and I m getting no responses at all Absolutely nothing SHOCKING SERVICE TO A CUSTOMER THATS BEEN WITH THEM FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS ABSOLUTELY DISTUSTING NEVER USE THEM

This company is a scam

I usually don t write reviews but I strongly advise against using this camera if you want to use their cloud feature The main reason is that their cloud provider KAMI operates like a scam They make it difficult to unsubscribe forcing you to pay for services you no longer need The only way to unsubscribe is by sending an email and they bombard you with questions before eventually ignoring you This has happened to me multiple times and I ve spent hours over the phone just trying to terminate my subscription and my emails were eventually ignored This has been going on for months Avoid this if you want a stress-free experience and the ability to unsubscribe easily through the app It feels like they do this on purpose making it so frustrating that you end up paying them every month What they re doing should be illegal

Kami has very poor customer service and

Kami has very poor customer service and failed to uphold its company logo of fairness for all I utilised its 3 day trial and had money taken out of my account When the 3rd day was over Kami refused to return my money Extremely disappointed It s now been nearly 5 weeks and no contact For a company the size of Kami it should be able to protect and serve its customers I will be laying this clear on social media

Can t get membership cancelled no matter how hard I try I hate them

Been trying for months to cancel my subscription to this company through Yi iot whatever I have countless emails back and forth to no avail So they STEAL 11 99 a month from me I moved so I tried to cancel my subscription in June I don t need a security camera anymore I have security personnel available 24 7 now I hate this company
