Very poor service

Very poor service lock smith be come available after 2 weeks and couldn t get done the job and left my van in mess and finally I been told I have arrange someone by myself to get it fixed

Lost keys on Wed s

Lost keys on Wed s Told can t do anything until Friday Report it again on the Friday to be told someone will get in touch shortly didn t hear anything reported it again Saturday and was told they couldn t tell me the name of the company getting me a key or when I tried sun to be told no one there to talk to I explain how urgent it was as my phone with my bank cards was locked in the car and I have no money to buy anything or do anything and I am still waiting to hear anything

Poor service

I was told that I was covered for up to 1500 At the end the KEYCARE team agreed to pay 120 towards the 350 I had to pay to retrieve my car keys which were locked inside my car They had the nerve to tell me that in practice they should not reimburse me anything but that the 120 they were paying towards my expenses were a gesture of good will on their part I felt really cheated

A long winded process

A long winded process I literally had to do all the difficult work myself From finding a suitable key cutter to paying up front and collecting the car key A disappointed customer

I rarely give poor reviews but Unfortunately they cancelled 4 times at very last minute notice before my replacement car key was finally sorted out I even booked a day off work so that it could be sorted out and then they cancelled again I was lucky that I had a spare key so I could use my car I don t think I would agree to have this as part of my breakdown service package again unless improvements are made

The dealer key was missing cut and sk

The dealer key was missing cut and sk dosnt work Two generic keys cut but these also don t start the vehicle AA came back to look but said there was nothing they could do and claimed the issue was mechanical Very disappointing and caused us real inconvenience

This company is a sham

Locksmith arrived well outside the arranged time and was in a rush to get to other jobs He then proceeded to break the ignition barrel of my van He then took advantage of the fact I wasn t on site wrote a report that I wasn t able to verify this made out that the problem was the van Keycare then refused any help with repairs of the fault caused by their engineer I have requested the recordings of that days phone calls that they have not provided I have also requested the details of their insurance company they have not provided this either They also have not sent the official complaint forms to me This company is a sham one star is too many for them Stay well clear

Cancelled appointments

Booked appointment then it was cancelled and rearranged On the day of next appointment they called again saying technician couldn t make it which was very annoying

On the surface this is a really good

On the surface this is a really good insurance in fact the first time although it took them two weeks to replace the key when the engineer finally came with the replacement It was good service Sadly I lost a key for my transit van and it was Friday evening they would not do anything until Monday morning and of course I paid out 450 myself to get it sorted ready for work on Monday and they would not honour the bills so again on the surface a great insurance but you better lose your keys at the right place at the right time

Not worth the trouble

Not worth the trouble Lost keys found by someone who did a runner and they refuse to pass his details onto the police as this has be come theft and the thief got paid a finders reward but have never got the keys back They forced me to pay up my premium then did nothing Update 14 01 2023 You refused to help at the time don t believe you will actually do anything more all you sighted was data protection And you refused to pass the info to the police So buyer beware is key here no pun intended
