Not as good as i know anymore
My daughter has been with Kumon for 6 years now i think i agreed with the repetition method for practising mathematics However due to Covid19 all the classes stopped so we cant attend the centre anymore so for English as a non-native speaker i dont think is effective as before Also as a parent we have been asking to not even marking the homeworks so that my daughter can do the correction straightaway which i dont really mind but we have been asked to do a report do record time and mistakes for the kumon owner so that they can give worksheets according to the progress We marked the worksheets we did the report so basically we did everything i have a feeling of we just buying the worksheets with NO FEES adjustment at all in this COVID 19 period I have so far expressed my concerns to the KUMON office but no reply at all So i think at this period there are so many choices out there unless you are very determined and self-disciplined else you wont think that Kumon is the best anymore 02 07 2020 i understand that recording homeworks results is in order to let the instructors have an insights in order to provide worksheets accordingly I also agreed with the Kumon s repetition method is good for learning mathematics The thing i dont agree is the way Kumon UK s handling in this difficult COVID-19 situation Asking parents to do all the things without any fees adjustments So far i know that instructors need to employ same part-timers to do all these works but now no longer need to do because we as a parent have do it Anyway i just want to tell all the parents what they have to bear in mind if come to choose a right tuition or learning centre for their own child With the same amount of money probably you can have 2 sessions of private 1-to-1 tutoring which will benefit your kids more
