late delivery

The reason I have rated 2 stars this is due to are car turning up a day late it would have been longer than a day also if I had not phoned to check delivery as they had not even realised they had not booked it in But I feel it fair to write the service was very good emails telephone conversations all very good helpful agents and I would have no hesitation in dealing with them again and i would have rated higher if they had not delivered our car late

Long delay and wrong colour vehicle

I made an order for a car on 4th August on the premise that it would be delivered by early-to-mid October However I did not receive it until 4th December The vehicle was also the wrong colour as they mixed it up with another order I found out this three days before delivery therefore I said it was fine in the end as I had been waiting long enough already The positive reviews on this site helped me choose Lease Car - and my initial experience was good - but I now feel very let down by the company

Simple mistakes that could so easily have been avoided

Initial sales process was good but then as soon as purchase was made the standard slipped significantly Incorrect delivery dates invoice errors false verbal information about vehicle specification poorly handled administration leave me feeling let down by the company which did such a good job in winning the initial business I am now looking for an alternative supplier for fellow company directors

Took a lot longer to get the car than they first said

Leased my car through these and it took them 6 months to get it to me Wouldn t have complained if they were honest to begin with but I was without a car for 3 months because of their delays They delayed delivery several times and were poor at responding to our complaints when we were informed of the delays Regret not going to a trusted dealership in all honesty after the wait I had to go through

Unexpected design feature

There is a design feature on the back panel of the car which I did not expect to be there I rang to see what could be done but got told there was nothing they could do It would have been helpful if they sent through a full design spec pictures before placing the order The picture on their website did not show the design feature Disappointing

Poor after sales experience

Steve Hancock was great from the sales team Went downhill from there unfortunately No-one contacted me had to constantly chase then was informed the car would not be delivered on time and had to go over a week without a car If I had not have contacted them myself it would have been even longer Not a very slick process at all Was also informed that I would need to get an MOT done before handing the car back a hidden extra

Poor Experience Overall

Ordered an in stock car from Lease Car The sales rep was great initially with comms Always called me to provide an update and had near instant responses when I emailed asking a question This all changed once my car was ordered and I paid my vehicle sourcing fee and signed the finance papers I had to constantly chase for an update Whilst I completely appreciate that lead times can change the lack of information around it was concerning As a customer you want to see something is being done whether that is chasing dealership finance company etc to find out what is causing the delay especially as the car was in stock I was asked to check the portal which was had been stuck on the first stage for 2 weeks According to the portal I hadn t even signed the finance agreement I raised this via email which was ignored Around 2 weeks after the order I called again and spoke to a different rep who was more than helpful He agreed to look into it and sent an email to an internal team This is all I wanted as it shows the company is willing to look into the delay Within 2 days the portal was updated and I had a delivery date I was then sent some details on purchasing insurance via the finance provider After a week I still had no quote and delivery day was looming On the day that I was going to collect the car I still had no quote after chasing for a week so I ended up purchasing the insurance separately This was just another issue added to the previous ones I experienced and at this stage I just wanted this whole experience to be over with so was looking forward to finally getting the car I collected my car and 2 days in I needed to use the windscreen washer only to find it was empty I filled it up and then found that it wasn t working properly I have the maintenance package but was sent no details on how I can actually use this I was advised by one person to contact Tesla for the repair and was assured that the finance company are working on the app registration and the other person gave me a phone number to contact the finance company direct for the repair I decided to contact the finance company and they advised me they can t setup any repairs until the lease company send over the confirmation that the car has been collected Now I was advised the lease company has 10 working days to do this however in my situation considering I have a fault with the car I was hoping that this would have been done sooner but as we are now on the 8th working day I guess I just have to wait and hopefully in 2 days I will be receiving a call In relation to the app registration they advised they didnt even know I had the car they have not been working on it but they were able to sort his out within 10 minutes However I don t understand how leasecar uk advised the turnaround time is 72 hours to get the app registered and assured me the the finance company were working on it when clearly they were not Considering there were two people I spoke to who were absolutely amazing and helpful I do believe I probably would have had a much better experience had I been dealing with a different sales rep to the one I had Overall poor experience from lack of comms poor processes and a portal that didnt work has turned me into a detractor Not sure if anyone calls from the leasecar post delivery to see how customers are getting on but I ve had radio silence I doubt I will be ordering any more cars through this company as it is the worst experience I have ever had when leasing a car On the plus side I am enjoying my new car albeit it still has a fault but it s a small win considering the experience I had

Regret recommending Lease Car

Having recommended Lease Car to my partner after using them myself previously sadly they let them down badly After waiting 15 months for a car they simply couldn t supply the vehicle they ordered I m mindful of the challenges car leasing companies are facing in obtaining vehicles at the moment however the service experience became pretty indifferent in the end even if this was not the intention As such due to being let down my partner had no choice but to cancel the order and use another provider By comparison I ordered a vehicle with GB vehicle leasing at the same time as my partner and although delayed a little it arrived as per the agreement order spec and price Cynics may think that not wanting to supply a vehicle for 100 P M less than could be charged currently due to the shift of price in the car market could be a factor I hope a reputable company would not act in a way as to put potential profit above it s commitment customer satisfaction and loyalty Update 17 1 23 - Thank you Lease Car for the apology together with the comprehensive explanation concerning the challenges and difficulties you continue to face in servicing orders impacting on the ability to provide vehicles to customers

I was disappointed with the car when it

I was disappointed with the car when it arrived 130 miles And the car was in bad need of a wash as it was dirty was like a second hand car Not even driven it yet as I have no interest I really feel let down the excitement of a new car was like receiving a second hand one

They added 600 after I d agreed thevdeal

Good price agreed the figure then they changed their mind and added another 600 on Asked if they could do the original deal and told no and was agreed by their manager Another agent from the same company said he d do the deal without the 600 I m paying a little more at a company that s being totally honest with me
