Lack of free navigation service

I was not advised that I would not have the optional navigation service which I expected to be included It was included as standard on my previous Qashqui by my previous car lease broker This cannot be retrofitted

Was very interested once I saw the good

Was very interested once I saw the good deals they were doing I got a call back and a quote that day I applied and same day the order was taken by Richard everything fabulous Then it has taken nearly 4 weeks to sort the car being delivered a week late to supplier then they sent me paper work I sent back which took 5 days to sort Inc a delivery fee of 8 which I paid for I went with them as I was told 2 to 3 weeks was very excited But it all went so slow once they got my order I now have the car and it s beautiful But had I known it would take a month not sure I d have ordered I d have shopped around

Promises

Admin is top drawer and very professional but gave me 4 different estimates of delivery dates and two different confirmed delivery dates The problem is that financial decisions are made on dates given the delays cost me a fair amout of money

Excellent sales process but lack of customer care to support handover

The front office sales process was excellent Easy to contact very helpful to identify the best deal and happy to explore alternatives Unfortunately the back office was an issue They only register cars on delivery day which meant my insurance was only provisional and because the car was registered in a different location to my residence the premium increased by 120 I had provided the reg number to insurance company in advance but this was not taken into account until the registration process was completed So I had a car on the drive while I then had to re-run the search comparison sites for insurance Why not register the car a day before The assistant refused my request to engage with the delivery company to get an approximate delivery time and insisted that they would only give me 1 hour notice of delivery and I had to be available between 8 30 - 17 00 Given that the driver would be on the road for over 7 hours this seemed ridiculous Thankfully the driver contacted the evening before to confirm a delivery time next day which he kept

Delivery great collection not so good

Delivery of my new car was 10 days early which was great Delivery and overall management of the delivery was very good and well organised Collection wasn t so great I re-arranged my whole schedule to be at home ALL day the collection of my car was supposed to be between 8 30 and 5 30 By 5 45 I had no comms about the collection and Lease Car couldn t help because they said it was all in the hands of the finance company At 5 55pm I had a call saying the guy would be there in 10 minutes Turned up at 6 15pm Why he couldn t have called me at 4 30 or earlier to just say he might be late or about 6pm I don t know Poor attitude and poor comms Some people have families demanding jobs lives and can t just hang around forever BCA Logistics must try harder

Paid more than originally quoted

Made an enquiry to lease a new car Quotes were really competitive and contact excellent Delivery times were discussed as car was to replace another going back We later then got and email saying the delivery would be put back three months I rang to say this wouldn t work and they suggested I lease an alternative car I said I wanted only that vehicle After a couple of days they came back and said I could have the same vehicle and spec at the originally quoted date but it would be 10 per month more I agreed as I needed the car I just didn t understand why It s not the money it just didn t feel right somehow All other aspects of the service were quick and efficient

Ordering the car

Ordering the car with Scott who we have had a previous car from was no drama at all cant do enough for you great Actually getting the car is a different story 3-4 times the date was changed i received the car after complaining some 6 weeks after the original date this is frustrating to say the least

Customer Experience The initial order was handled well

The initial order was handled well however no empathy was soon when the car was delayed time and time again I was just told look at the portal Order was placed feb 22 and arrived End of March 23 However when the car eventually arrived there was a mix up on the registration plate which was again another inconvenience all I received was an apology by email Unfortunately there is no personal touch and I was just treated as an order number which is a shame

Good initial customer service received then poor aftercare

Quick to respond to my enquiry for a new car Information shared and accurate timings given Quick response given to emails Additional costings invoiced for delivery sent to me which was frustrating The biggest disappointment for us is that there was an issue with my car after a few days and lease car had washed their hands of the situation and informed me I had to contact the car company to help me

Finally received my car today

Finally received my car today after a unusual delay in the original delivery date I did receive a call after several emails explaining the delay However the delivery drivers were really helpful and polite and I am pleased with my vehicle
