Not great service

Lots of people dealing with my requests lots of confusion Louise staff apologised for confusion Leeds BS needs better system to deal with emails as all messages about sane enquiry sent to many different advisors causing confusion I wish to state that prior to this review I did not have service issues with Leeds BS

All I wished to do was remove my ex

All I wished to do was remove my ex husband from our joint mortgage - he no longer has any financial claim on the property I have the security to repay the current fixed rate agreement and even though I intend to retire at the end of this term can pay off the balance with my lump sum Your advisor although I know she has to give all options would not entertain this solution insisting I could not afford it on my retirement income I felt forced to continue with the existing deal with the risk that my ex could change his mind and demand assets from the property I felt as though I was not being listened to and all that was wanted was to make me review or replace my mortgage which would result in it being unaffordable for me I did not need extra stress as going through a divorce is enough

Customer Service not helpful

I could not remember the security questions for my account and was told I have to go into a Leeds Building Society office with identification before I can reset There is not an office on the Isle of Wight and so I have to send to an office on the mainland Surely there is another way of resetting password rather than go through the bother of sending something through the post All this for a 1k investment which I will be taking out

Great to talk to real people

Great to talk to real people I chose the LSB Peterborough Branch to take out a new ISA I received excellent service from Louise who was so professional friendly and helpful in explaining everything clearly to me she went above and beyond her customer service skills and is a credit to your Company A special thank you also to Chelsey who dealt with my husband on a previous occasion she was also all of the above Thanks to all your friendly staff

No App Poor access

Ridiculously complicated log in procedure and even worse experience trying to withdraw monies Can t get instant access have to wait for someone to decide to get round to doing it for me No online app either unlike all other banks and building societies so can t withdraw money via an app nor keep easy track on my accounts Have closed my accounts and gone elsewhere

Online access very slow to setup and

Online access very slow to setup and clunky generally Opened a savings account online The security side of it is horrible to navigate and a bit like going back in time 5-10 years You have to enter lots of memorable info and put in selected characters from your password Pretty near impossible to get right if you have long random passwords You can pay in money immediately but it takes up to 10 days post to get access to your account online Wish I d not done it now

Better online accounts out there

The online account I have is very un user friendly The Lloyds and tsb are far easier to to use Taken days to find out how to transfer some of my money out the site doesn t support safari had to use Crome Pop up boxes appear on safari and then you can t access the bits you want Had to keep ringing help line

I was disappointed that my secure log

I was disappointed that my secure log in details were so easily changed by a hacker I had thought that having provided obscure security answers my account was protected However I did find the people who dealt with my problem were very professional

Pointless

Responded quickly - unfortunately they ignored my actual question They then ignored my reply I only wanted to know what interest rate applied to a specific account so it shouldn t have been that difficult

website needs investment

Lovely staff good rates but hopeless time eating website I have now been compensated twice for the time spent trying to get into the website - but what I really want is a website that works and a greater sense of urgency on the part of the building society to make this happen
