High Rating for Shipping Speed but Be Warned on Sizing

Giving 2 stars for the speed with which the bag I ordered was delivered but sadly was so disappointed in the size of the medium tote Since this was personalized I m expecting customer service to refuse an exchange given the site s FAQs Like some of the other reviews I m left wondering why they have left a photo up that makes the bag look a certain size when in reality I can barely zip it closed with my laptop inside The medium is actually not that roomy in contrast to the photo on the product page and I would caution anyone undecided on size that the medium barely zips shut with a normal laptop inside much less add in a few other bits and bobs you re going to need during the day In other words if you want the medium don t expect to carry much I had been wanting one of these bags forever and finally took the chance but they really need to do a better job of showcasing their bag s sizes and what they can hold on their site and definitely they should take down photos that are misleading Be careful in ordering Update I want to come on and edit my review to provide a comment about the care and attention this company puts on customer service Jenna reached out to me and we discussed my concern and she made things right This lovely lady cares deeply about her company and customers which is so rare to see nowadays If you re looking for a company that stands by its word and product this one does for sure Sincere wishes for success and prosperity Lily Bean

Disappointing experience shopping with L B

Ordered their monogram straw tote which took 6 weeks to arrive to be fair they did indicate 4 week lead time when I ordered The bag that arrived was poorly woven like something from a beach-side stall I wouldn t pay 20 let alone the 100 I did pay The monogram in a different size and place to the photos and gold lettering was wonky and very badly done I sent photos to customer service who acknowledged the defects but said I wasn t entitled to a refund only a replacement because goods are personalised I explained that by law a refund must be given for faulty goods Had to open a dispute with Paypal to get any response after this They eventually acknowledged my rights but demanded the bag back first for inspection God knows why as they had seen the photos and admitted the poor quality No returns slip in the box so they emailed me one to print I don t have a printer so that was a real pain to arrange Again they should be allowing returns by lawI then had to chase L B to process the actual refund after the DPD tracking showed the parcel was returned Once chased they did process the refund immediately though Never ever again

Glossy marketing Poor product

The leather look detail is very plasticky and has a strong plastic smell I ordered white but it s really an off-white almost putty colour There are small tears and nicks and stitching is wonky across the leather look trim There is damage to the bag fastener the weave is poor quality and has defects in it including a bend in the bottom of the bag Some of this is likely due to shipping as it comes in a flimsy cardboard box rather than any substantial packaging to protect it Finally the monogram is off centre so just looks weird This company did a great job with their insta-marketing but unfortunately we have been duped into paying money for a sub-standard product

Do not fall for the Insta marketing

The delivery time was fine quicker than the stated 6-8 weeks However the box arrived damaged upon opening it to my surprise the actual bag wasn t protected in any way The quality of the bag is poor the paint has transferred onto the rim of the bottom of the bag The overall look and feel is far short than what was expected The stiching is lose on the branding inside the bag The handles also feel weak Really disappointed and annoyed at myself for succumbing to all the marketing on Instagram Worth 30 not 100

Very disappointed

I ordered 2 suitcases and a tote bag After one overseas trip I was disappointed at how scratched up and damaged the front customized side of my suitcase looked I can only imagine how pathetic it will be after several trips The clear acrylic that covers the customized side of the suitcase it VERY easily scratched scuffed and damaged Everyone knows how hard the airlines are on the luggage This luggage may be able to physically take the abuse but it s going to look terrible The outer material is just too delicate Very disappointed Additionally I love the tote bag but it does not have anything other than fabric on the bottom of it no purse feet or leather strip to protect bottom of bag Again very disappointing

Great customer service BUT I don t love my bag

Lily Bean has great customer service They were very helpful when I emailed them regarding my order However I don t love my bag I am disappointed in the suede like handles and trim I would have preferred smooth leather like on some of the other bags I read the descriptions and compared bags but didn t see a difference in them It might be helpful to give more specific details about each particular style of bag Because this bag is personalized I am unable to return and or exchange it Also disappointed in the interior lining of the bag It just feels cheap Probably won t be ordering again anytime soon
