Online problems

Tried to use love2shop gift card at Matalan online It did not accept the card details at checkout tried 4 times Ended up using another method if payment frustrating

Burocratic

Had to jump through a lot of unnecessary hoops to process a resend of gift cards lost by royal mail including scanning my driving licence and printing signing and scanning back a PDF when it could have been done digitally But received what I needed in 2 weeks

Worthless Vouchers

Really disappointed with Love2shop After getting some paper vouchers through work I spent some but mislaid my remaining 190 worth of vouchers I finally found them and noticed they are a couple of weeks out of date After contacting them they refuse to renew them I would not recommend companies giving these vouchers to staff You are better off with a cash bonus at least then you have some time to spend your hard earned cash Update You have have asked me to reach out to you which I have I m still waiting for a response Is this a matter you would like to resolve

Would not recommend

Would not recommend Requested a 2 week extension to my gift card after family bereavement led to me missing the expiry date This did not seem to be an unreasonable request but was refused All credit on card lost so very disappointing and poor customer service Update to say thankyou to Love2shop for reconsidering My replacement card arrived yesterday very much appreciated although would have been nice for this to have happened without resorting to a poor review to prompt action Thanks

I had really good experience with

I had really good experience with Jay after a voucher problem a few weeks ago However I now have 50 00 of paper vouchers which are out of date as it was impossible to find a store that would accept paper vouchers I have tried to contact the company by email to see as the vouchers are in prime condition and unspent if they can be transferred to an e card I cannot find an email address or number

Cancelled my 2025 plan

After using in 2023 I opted to do the same for 2024 as it takes of some pressure for saving for Christmas and it was easy to use in stores However after receiving my 2024 card some of the stores have changed that accept the chip and pin purple card You can no longer use the purple card in B M and in order to spend it you have to convert it to an e-gift card Same with Amazon So it has become more difficult to use as receiving the e-gift card can take 24hours I decided to cancel for 2025 as I m struggling to spend my current one I ve opted for a Monzo card instead which I will make the same monthly payments to and I know I can spend this anywhere then

Ordered an e-gift card yesterday

Ordered an e-gift card yesterday received the confirmation email but no e-gift card received even after I contacted them with the order number Confirmation email showed that I should receive the e-gift card in minutes to 3 hour Review on 2 days later Thank you the staff from love2shop got the e-gift card after communicating with him in phone Obviously customer service is much better than the system

Beware of transaction fees

It should be made clearer which retailers add a transaction fee I think 5 So converting a 10 card into an e-gift card to use at Amazon costs 50p

Pointlessly difficult to access

Thank you Nathan and I think they are responding now I had tremendous difficulty last year in redeeming the credit I had with Love2Shop applied by the AAI couldn t believe it would be so hard again and accepted a new credit via the AABut incoming emails just offer me a code state the amount then any attempt to follow them up goes nowhere with blank or frozen screens Would really appreciate the email for customer services again please

Plastic voucher not accepted in WH Smith

I can t see how to give feedback on the Love2shop site so am adding it here I ve been given vouchers for completing surveys over a couple of years and had mixed experience trying to redeem them in shops To be honest it s usually a bit of a faff as the tills can t easily read them and you can t buy something that costs more than the voucher so almost always lose the last few pence Today I tried to buy something in WH Smith with my plastic voucher only to be told they only accept the paper ones no explanation Can this restriction be added to your site please to help others
