I wish we had seen the reviews before

I wish we had seen the reviews before ordering My wife ordered 2 HAY armchairs and and small HAY stool on the 2nd of April and since then no updated have been given They say on their website that goods will be delivered between 5 - 8 working days We sent them a follow up email on the 14th of April but still no answer so our only conclusion is that this is not a real company but a well designed SCAM Update The furniture arrived and is good condition so I have changed my review Just a little scary when you don t hear back from them and when it takes much longer than necessary The company could easily fix this with an automated updates system

My lamp did arrive but it took a bit longer than stated

I ve had a run of bad luck with online shopping recently and when I saw the reviews for this site after I d ordered I thought oh no here we go again Thankfully my order did arrive Only 4 stars though as it says on the site Delivery by DPD or Royal mail within 5 to 7 days and it actually took a full 14 days Also I emailed support a few days ago as it looked like my parcel had gone into a chronopost black hole for 10 days but Made in Design didn t reply

I too expected the worst

I too expected the worst but it all worked perfectly well The reason I won t give 5 stars is that the customer service response is poor both by email and phone But it all came together and on time I didn t expect it As a postscript the company promised a 10 refund and that arrived today 2 Feb My overall conclusion is that this is a disorganised rather than dishonest supplier But I wouldn t use again for that reason unless they sold something unavailable elsewhere

Customer service initially unresponsive but fixed issue well

I purchased a number of Fermob garden chairs One arrived damaged I reported this and received an auto generated support ticket but in spite of 2 email requests to address the issue I haven t had the courtesy of a response Following my review Made in Design acted promptly and efficiently to get back to me and resolve the issue Thank you

Overall good experience but poor tracking customer service

Overall good experience with a very reasonable price and a delivery within reasonable timing which is the essential - would say that the company s tracking and customer services really do it a big disservice as the customer gets quite anxious to know what is happening to its purchase for high amounts with limited details or no status change in days

Great product but this was a uk

Great product but this was a uk purchase and it did not arrive with a uk plug and no earth cable Tried to call customer service but it was a terrible line and ended up buying an adapter off Amazon Works fine and is very beautiful

good quality products

The products I ordered were high quality and as described on the website Although not cheap I do feel that they were good value for money Unfortunately they were inadequately packaged and so the glass cup was broken in transit It was replaced but it took a whole to arrive from the warehouse in France and arrived too late to give as a Christmas gift as intended Personally I think the spoons could have been presented far better than in a plastic bag but overall good high quality products and excellent customer service

Nice products but one tin damaged due

Nice products but one tin damaged due to insufficient packaging No replacement possible ad discontinued colour so refunded on the damaged item This was done promptly and without fuss so all good

Helpful customer service

The downside I had to chase my order after over a week but the upside was that when I spoke to a very helpful customer adviser they explained they d had a system error and promptly had my item despatched the same day
