Clothes shop Staff great But paying at till a nlghtmare if paying buy card you have to do it yourself tills not very explanatory having to rely on staff to show how but only one girl there to help

Bought two dresses via website and

Bought two dresses via website and opted for click and collect from local store This process was very quick and easy Unfortunately both dresses size 10 which is my usual size were way too big more like 12-14 so had to return I did this by taking back to the store I collected them from and again was quick and easy process Just disappointed with sizing

I like my items but one has a tag left on

I like my items but one has a tag left in it so I have to go back to the shop which is 25 mile round trip to get the tag removed

Difficulty with returning items

As I am unable to get out I chose Matalan as I saw that returns could be collected or posted When trying to do this coould not find anywhere which showed me how to arrange a collection I telephoned Matalan and was told to go into their webpage and I would see a collection from Evri this I did but there was no such area that showed this Very disappointed

System failure

I placed my order for Click Collect and received confirmation the same day I was told to await confirmation that my order was ready to collect but 6 days later I had heard nothing On contacting Customer Services it turned out that my order was in the branch all along but a notification had not been activated

Always having to ask for a refund on

Always having to ask for a refund on next day collection due to store not unloading their trolley on time I was told by staff Ridiculous and frustrating especially that I use that particular service for a reason

I ordered an item to then receive a message that it was out of stock Matalan also used to be really good for providing good discounts but now you gave to spend a fortune to receive a small amount of money off

Disappointed

Disappointed - ordered some towels a candle collected from store All in a box seemed well packed until opened The candle jar although wrapped in bubble wrap paper was in pieces Knew something wasn t right as soon as I opened the box could hear something was broken couldn t be the towels - didn t bother returning to store as don t stay that close would prob cost more in petrol than the candle As I said pretty well packed so can only assume it s down to how it was delivered or the box was dropped Needless to say candle is unusable as has pieces of broken glass thru it

Missing item

Generally pleased with products that were ordered and arrived but even though there was an item that was on the dispatch note and the online information it failed to arrive After reporting it a refund was offered immediately but no satisfactory answer was given of how it could have happened and there didn t appear to be any great concern - perhaps it is a normal accepted occurrence

Great choice quality price

I really like matalan home clothing I had wanted some gym wear leggings top and great selection quality price However I had been given the code to get money off and it was quite annoying it s only available online I wanted to see the products try on so I had to leave them at till once I was told it was only online Then go home order come back 2 days later to collect The high street is dying shops closing staff losing jobs you are forcing customers to shop online Quite disappointed Browsing shops I often pick up extras that I wouldn t online
