Use to be a great company
I have along with several family members been ordering from this company for years and as long as the items were bulbs the orders have always been fine Potted plants are not a good idea unless you want dead twigs But I do not know when this happened but they are now part of a much larger company The selection they have is nothing like it use to be But that way you have to make more smaller orders from all of there sister companies All of these company s have very poor shipping standards Mi Bulb Co keeps taking orders for items they never have in stock even when their website says its in stock and ready to ship Its not really in stock and ready to ship They change the ship date on a whim but never inform you of the change You call and speak to customer service and they are not helpful at all You email them and never receive any sort of reply The only good thing is you can now cancel the whole order online But then they are very slow about offering the refund Up to 30 days It truly is a shame use to be great Since there are 10-15 sister companies they should just make one website so I would not have to place five orders and wait for five different shipments It s such a shame

Worst Online Garden Company Ever
Why the Michigan Bulb website displays a 4 5 rating is a complete mystery to me When I placed an April 2 2023 order my online cart showed 0-2 weeks shipping for each item with a confirmation email received the following day The 1st time I checked my account status there were five different shipping periods should have ed this order that came to be continually postponed until the 5th was finally received 2 5 months later in June with the now added 6th completely cancelled Before the end of April I called and or emailed at least five times when partial shipments were scheduled to occur and 5 different family gifts would not arrive on time to be transported on a scheduled 3 hour driving trip and again when I would have been swamped planting a scheduled early May delivery of 32 live plants along with another previously postponed twice Michigan Bulb delivery before leaving on a 1 week vacation Each time I was told that a rush would be placed for specific shipments and the rest of my order Other Problems Another personalized family gift was supposed to have purple blooms but are instead showing not-ever-going-to-change pink ones Some of the bare root items looked nothing like the online images shown shipped as while others couldn t be found again on the website after delivery to check for shipped as images or growth requirements and planting instructions When I called about a Hardy Carnation that I couldn t tell which part should be facing up when planted I was told to just plant it and still don t see any growth activity after a month and had to use other resources to determine it s light soil and water requirements

Mother s Day Gift
I ordered a Mother s Day Gift on 4 28 23 on 5 2 23 they charged my credit card and created a FedEx Label On 5 12 23 I called to see where my order was and they said Oh we are out We will have to refund you They only created the fedex shipping label to charge my card This company is a scam Do not buy from them They will charge your credit card and not send the product and don t care They either over sold or never had the product DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY SCAM

Michigan Bulb Co is a joke
I made my Spring order in February it is June 3rd and I still have not received my order I just called and cancelled my order They are happy to take your money but do not deliver the products Very poor customer service

I don t trust this company at all and
I don t trust this company at all and neither should you I purchased a few items from them this spring - thinking all would ship in a normal amt of time Received the first 2 items back in spring The rose bush looked dead and took a long time to finally put out a few leaves The other 2 items have yet to arrive Seems the shipping dates keep getting pushed out on their web site Who wants items to arrive in the middle of a hot summer in the midwest If I ordered them in spring I expect them in spring Will never purchase from this company again I think it is a HUGE SCAM Buyer beware

This company can not be trusted
This company can not be trusted I ordered several different types of grasses What they sent was so small I had trouble finding them in the bag of peat They charge a premium for next to nothing which has a better chance of dying than living Then there is the fact it takes weeks into months to ship

Order shipped on the 7th and won t arrive until the 17th 10 days in transit My last order arrived moldy and they wouldn t let me cancel this one If I choose to return it I can only receive store credit no refunds This company really sucks

This place is a joke
This place is a joke I placed an order for several items on January 20th Almost a year later and the order still has not been filled Have called numerous of times and have gotten numerous e excuses as to why the order has not been filled Asked for a refund on July 21st and was told I could receive a check because I do not have that account that I paid with any longer Well Needless to say I have not received a check They refunded to the card that doesn t exist anymore even though they were told elsewise 2 of the plants of that order died and they would not refund those either Will never ever order from them again Buyer beware

All Talk No Walk
I originally ordered product in late February all showing an in stock status Customers need to know that Michigan Bulb charges you when you order not when they actually ship the products to you assuming that happens in the same calendar year - big difference 2 months after my order and payment I am still attempting to get the original items not only that I ordered but also paid for nearly 60 days ago 2 different contacts from my end to the company have presented no progress only weak promises and a litany of excuses MBC continues to push their delivery dates out on my order status bar no explanation no real customer service minimal business integrity and at the end of the day all talk and no walk Order at your own risk
