The website and customer service is rubbish
The website is rubbish app does not work you cannot call in to discuss any issue with your booking we tried to notify them hours before we arrived to amend our booking and not only was there no platform on the web for doing this but the telephone numbers published on their websites were old numbers We then managed to get a number for the company but there was still no answer The only thing this company cares for is taking your money and that s it The port boarding was badly organised and we literally had to work out a way to board ourselves with no assistance whatsoever The customer services on board was equally rubbish if not worse Not one staff had a smile on his her face The ferry needs a deep clean and staff should be trained to understand what hospitality is I queued for coffee and after a long wait I was told that I had to pay first at the tills I consequently lost my place in the queue The staff generally looked as if they were serving prison time Very bad service all around and I will not book through Moby again

They cancel your ferry and leave you to sleep on the streets
Me and my family would rate this company with 0 if we could - do not take the ferry with Moby We had the worst experience with them today yesterday when we were on a daytrip from Santa Teresa Gallura to Bonifacio We were to take the ferry home from Bonifacio at 20 o clock in the evening the ferry was cancelled due to weather problems Our family with 2 children along with 18 other persons were left with no help regarding a place to sleep or something to eat and the surrounding hotels were booked The deskperson from Moby just said not my problem and come back tomorrow there is a ferry 8 30 We we left on the street for several hours some guards and the police came and after som time found a hotel we and another family could rent but the rest af the people were left to sleep on the street Noone cared They were nt even allowed in the inside waiting area that were locked At around 8 the next morning the 8 30 ferry was also cancelled So we waited and faught to get new tickets in several lines and atlast we got on a ferry at 11 o clock So our advice is never travel with Moby

Bad experience
I travelled on 13 8 22 from Olbia to Genoa Originally booked with Tirrenia but they cancelled it and moved the departure from Porto Torres to Olbia with one day notice new operator Moby The ferry had 3 hours delay no excuses Check in was a real chaos not even the signs nearby the ferry were correct Piombino instead of Genoa Staff was rude and everybody said something different They didn t even know the arrival time of the ferry Parking inside the ferry was a nightmare too tight doors couldn t be opened The service on deck was miserable too food quality really poor On the speakers you had to hear the TV program the whole time most stupid programs the whole day More decent looking pub area was just closed Disembarking was a chaos again We just waited 30 minutes to just get out we were on the very front The staff was smoking outside of the ship instead of guiding us Really a bad experience

Took a family trip from Livorno to
Took a family trip from Livorno to Sardinia and back the trip to Sardinia our second room had stained sheets and bugs in the bed People were sleeping all over the couches and in any room or corridor on the floor On the way back we had bugs in bed and the room entire floor smelled like sewer The boat is very dirty the food for dinning was not good and very over priced The outside deck as well as inside on the corners and poles had dog pee I was very disappointed and disgusted and will never return

incredibly dirty dont Go with this
incredibly dirty bad smell food that looks like garbage at sky high prices Have taken some pictures as I suspect the company of not keeping their ships in proper and safe condition They are gambling with people s safety

Beware of vouchers and insensitive employees
Moby provides vouchers that they expire with the greatest of ease on the basis of conditions that you will be told afterwards As a result we lost more than 275 euros The insurance specially taken out at the time of booking does not change this They cannot be reached by telephone and we have not made any progress by email Kind requests are rejected and complaints ignored After reading the many experiences on the internet you can only conclude that it is a company that has absolutely no message for customer satisfaction It is incomprehensible that the employees have no problem with theft of money from customers On the positive side we have not been on board and never will be As a result we will be spared all the other misery that can be read about Moby

Nave MOBY VINCI Cagliari Worst experience ever Water leaking from the ceiling of the cabin on the beds Water leaking in the self service caffettiera from the ceiling Terrible food Warmed up from day before or from the morning Fish was as hard as a shoe sole And pasta had hair in it Dirty place overall as cleaning was very poor Clearly huge lack of maintainance and management and ownership of the problems Not a nice way to welcome tourists to Sardegna The general management of MOBY should be ashamed of this and it makes you wonder as a passenger about the overall safety and maintainace of the boat When do these vessels go end of life The new one is awesome The old ones are being clearly overrun

Terrible service
Terrible service been waiting for refund for over a month for a ferry that was 6 hours late and they just keep on making excuses and saying they will deal with it but nothing happens Updated Still now reply two months later which is the deadline for responding set by EU regulations Probably because they are going bankrupt Please don t use this company Terrible service even though the ferry was late by 6h they didn t offer any refreshments and never apologised when we were onboard

Passengers have no rights
Took Moby from Livorno to Bastia On the good side the ferry fulfilled it s function as a transport means Otherwise rather unpleasant experience Personal doesn t speak English Credit cards not accepted on board that day But the worst part is that they don t care about customer rights We arrived in Bastia with a substantial delay of 2 hours due to late departure in Livorno and the Bastia port being blocked by another vessel In such cases according to EU regulations customers should get a partial refund similar to train or plane travel Unfortunately the company never cared to reply to my communication 2 times In result stay away from them if you can
