Facing Persistent Outgoing Payment Issues and Poor Communication with Monavate - Considering Regulatory Escalation
Our experience with Monavate has been extremely disappointing After setting up an e-money account through their subsidiary or sister company UAB Monavate for our holding company we have encountered consistent issues particularly with outgoing payments Currently it appears that they are preventing and restricting outgoing payments for many of their clients and we have learned that regulatory authorities are conducting an investigation into their practices Furthermore our attempts to address these issues through complaint emails have gone unanswered Our immediate concern is to retrieve our funds promptly and we are contemplating escalating our grievances to the regulatory body Update on the current situation with them as of 27 09 2024 there has been no change in our ongoing issue Despite our funds being inaccessible for nearly a month on September 23 2024 they proceeded to levy a monthly account fee of 19 99 This conduct is quite absurd for a Fintech company

I have been told there was no funds on my WeSwap card this is not true there was both Pounds x Euro left on it As I cannot verify this where can I turn to next

Success
After going round and round the houses for weeks and weeks I have got my Money Back Dont give up Ask your Bank to do a Charge Back if paid by Debit Card And Open a Visa Dispute Keep hammering away at Monavate They claim your Money is Safe It is Safegaurded Meaning they have your Money in a Holding Account They have to access this account which takes time I think it took 5-6 weeks from my initial contact with them Sadly there communication skills are very Poor It was my Bank that told me a Refund had been paid They contacted me to say my Charge back had been unsuccessful Don t give Up Keep fighting Dont give in I m sure their time delay is deliberate to make you give up Hope That helps anyone Stuck

Finally got a refund
Finally got a refund not happy with service but hopefully it will bring hope to those still waiting had to use the FCA send a final response email they have to respond in 3 days to one of those and sent them loads of emails which they didn t respond too don t give up

Montage lack in communication accountability and respect Having been a WeSwap customer one month on from logging my refund application and it confirmed by them - No Refund Tried over the month via emails that are not answered or a telephone number that NEVER is answered So how do customers make contact Reported to the FSA and the Ombudsman as they are legally responsible for the funds If this is the way this company is operated then I would suggest that in business this is one not to touch If they take accountability as seriously as communication then everyone is knackered

This is a further update re getting
This is a FURTHER update re getting refunds Today 15 Nov I did finally get my money back I fought for it But what a relief Weswap Last email from them was a week ago informing me that refunds would be processed in around a week Contacted them again asking where are my funds Email returned as to Team Monavate but bounced back from multiscreen net Looks like its all a big scam Thank you for your Patience with us regarding refunding your monies form your WeSwap account Your refund is being processed and should be back into your account within the next few working days Received on 08 Nov The email tat was No money has been returned and cant see anybody has had money returned

Keep lying about refund of weswap money I ve been told in will be 2 weeks then 7 days then a couple days then they are refunding people going on holiday first seems like they are just fobbing me off I ve now contacted the FCA my bank next stop small claims
