Highly Recommend

I have been working with MMI and specifically Marla for a couple months now and found her to be very thorough and clear in all her explanations Though my end result didn t result in my hiring MMI because they don t do what I need she helped and advised me how to proceed and what to watch out for I highly recommend MMI for debt management and counseling

Unprofessional and robotic responses do not use if you are concerned with your credit

Terrible experience with these people very unprofessional and completely unacceptable I didn t agree with how they were conducting the collection of my information there was no communication I had enrolled in the program with a first payment for 20th 4 days later no withdrawl In fact my account hadn t been authorized I spoke with numerous counselors all taking verbal agreements to authorize the payment nothing happened I have spent countless times on hold transferred between numerous departments had statements bounce through their mail server Do not use them they do not care about your payment arrangement and lack any compassion to doing a job worthy of handling or managing your finances

This company did not pay my bills on time and now my credit is messed up for the next 7 years of my life I have disputed it but does not matter I evil is done I am so embarrassed that I have used this company

Incompetent and questionable ethics

You must be REALLY bad w basic budgeting and in collections for this company to help you At least half of their so-called counselor are totally incompetent I had to explain the difference between Auto-draft and an ach payment to more than one person They will lie to you about how they set-up payments just to get you to signup They made my first payment to my creditors over 2 months late Also they will not help you actually manage your debt You are solely responsible for making sure they pay your creditors correctly If there are any issues they expect you to figure it out alone They really do Nothing I think they are partially funded by Credit card companies and it shows

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE They screwed up my payments I had NEVER been one day late with a payment until I hired these fools They completely screwed up my payments promised they would fix it and STILL havnt after 3 months So the credit card is reporting to the credit bureau negative payments 3 They RUINED my credit DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE they lie They only want your money They don t care about your credit My credit score is 569 and it started at 670 I HATE these people What a bunch of screw-up liars Its THEIR mistake and they STILL ARE MAKING IT AFTER 3 MONTHS AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD FIX IT AND TALK TO THE CREDIT BUREAU ITS GETTING WORSE BY EACH MONTH TIME TO GET A LAWYER

Every month they automatically take my

Every month they automatically take my payment out on the 19th I have never missed a payment 2 years ago they were paying one of my payments late Every month so I paid an extra payment to the bank to make sure that the payment would be early from that point forward How is it that I just got a letter and 25 late charge on that account I called them MMI and was informed billing information is unavavailbe I am supposed to call back in a couple of days Are you kidding me They had my payment in more than enough time to pay my credit account on time This is ridiculous

I now have a late payment on credit and 4yr turned into 5yr

I got the first ever bad mark on my credit because these guys were late twice in a row with Capitol One when I first signed up Also a year into signing up I find out that the program is going to take a year longer than the sold me When I asked why I didn t hear about this They told me to do the math with the remaining balance and your payments The only thing they do is negotiate a lower interest rate To think they manage your situation is false You are paying for them knowing how to negotiate with the your creditors Pay close attention to everything else I m getting a loan and getting out

Not helpful at all

I just had the worst experience ever with misconceptions and rude people that work there plus not even getting a refund of the fee I spend on nothing because non of my process went through to begin with I canceled it even before the month ended so nothing was done and they still didn t even return 35 Bottom line they are rude people they just want to get your money and once you sign up with them they don t care how they talk to you so never again Very disappointing that now days companies steal your money wow

Representative never did do follow-up

Representative never did do follow-up as we discussed once I return the call as asked by representative I was told that I didn t qualify for your program yes I m very disappointed because I have been there before it was money Management international with the same outcome

I called for help with two credit cards

I called for help with two credit cards store cards that is high interest rates and such because I couldn t afford the monthly payments they came back with an offer where the payments we re going to be almost 100 more then they are now now I realize there s no interest and the problem is my debt to income ratio is way off the scale and it just made it worse they didn t offer to lower the amount owed or anything like that so I don t know what to do plus they said I have to send my money to them and then they a scam or what
