I assumed when you send out emails promoting free postage for today only that it meant what it said However I was confused when I clicked through to the website that in one corner there was an asterisk saying free postage when you spend 75 and then further down the same page it said free postage when you spend 65 At the checkout i was charged full postage - by that time I wanted the fabric so I didn t cancel the order but I will not be ordering from your company again

BUYER BEWARE - CUSTOMER SERVICE DISGUSTING
I ordered several metres of pencil pleat tape plus fabric to make curtains The parcel came from Germany and although the fabric is fine the pencil pleat tape has no cords to gather the fabric I queried this with them assuming I d been sent the wrong tape They insist this is the correct tape but have not sent me instructions I requested to show me exactly how I should use this tape I m very experienced in making curtains but cannot find a way to use this tape without cords to gather the curtains They have ignored several requests for usage instructions and insist I have the correct product Absolutely disgusting customer service I will never use this company again I m contacting my credit card company for a refund EDIT how interesting that following this review the company wanted them to contact me I didn t bother as they clearly didn t want to help until I reviewed them negatively I ll be pursuing a refund via my credit card company

orders sent from Germany not UK - import problems
Although the website has a UK address the company is based in Germany if I has realised my order in excess of 100 would be sent from Germany I might not have placed the order My package arrived in the UK eight days ago which was also the date I was advised it would be delivered by Myfabrics After making contact by email with the company I have received one reply stating I have sent an urgent notification to our regulatory manager Five days later still no information I won t be placing any further orders and wouldn t recommend anyone to do so

Parcel took a lot longer than I expected Cotton fabric is nothing like I thought it would be I was expecting cotton jersey not plain very hard cotton Not that I could send 1 1 2 meter back but invoice had been cut out of the bag

I was looking for uplhostery fabric so ordered sample i need to pay for postage to get sample all other retailers send this free and till date i have not received the samples when contacted customer services i was told that it was sent by non-prirority postage so frustratingI won t recommend this retailer for any kind of fabric purely based in customer experience i got

leather button wrong shade
I bought a leather button in 2 sizes same colour The smaller buttons were darker and did not match They were for one coat I submitted photos via email 3 weeks ago After an email saying they d look into it and a follow up email I have no d infinitive response I won t use this company again

Shocking service Avoid Took 3 days to acknowledge order It comes from Germany but doesn t tell you that A week on parcel still in Germany Spent alot of money and now regretting it and wishing I hadn t bothered AVOID

Same product code different fabric
I have ordered previously from this company and wanted more of the same fabric I looked up the same product code to order more but the fabric I received a tartan was a different fabric A larger check and was stretch fabric not mentioned in the product heading as other tartans listed are Of course if I had scrutinised the whole listing I would have seen the 2 spandex but my mistake was to assume the same product code would mean the same product The company states no risk purchase BUT and it s a big but if you want to return an order you have to pay for the postage AND customs duties because despite a co uk web address the return address is in Germany thus making any refund negligible I will contact the company directly about these issues but fear I will have to try to sell this on - with accurate info but just to warn other customers to check every inch of small print before ordering

Despite their name this is a German company
As others I was also fooled by the name myfabrics co uk and totally believed this to be a British company when it s actually in Germany No one reads T Cs they know this so there s nothing the customer can do about it I contacted their customer service dept to ask why I haven t received my order yet but it seems no one is manning their email I can t comment on the fabric as after 9 days it still hasn t arrived UPDATE See below the exact same textbook response they give to every low star review on here Their website and emails are all clearly pre-written as they expect negative feedback from mislead customers

Where is my stuff
I ordered some samples which have taken over three weeks and are still not here Like others I was taken in by their website address into thinking I was buying British I have no problem buying from Germany as long as the stuff turns up I m just glad it was only samples Sadly I will not be buying from this company again
